Equipped with Qualcomm's new-generation flagship Bluetooth chip, the QCC5181, the UTWS5 2025 supports Bluetooth 5.4, complies with the LE Audio standard, and offers a bandwidth transmission capability of up to 2.1Mbps. It also supports the Lossless specification in the aptX Adaptive system, as well as audio codecs like LDAC and aptX Adaptive at 96kHz/24bit. When enabling desktop mode and using the BTR17 to connect to a smartphone as a tail DAC/amp, you can connect the dedicated power input to an adapter. In this case, the battery will be fully powered by USB, preventing overcharging and over discharging. The device also delivers a powerful 650mW output capability while not consuming the smartphone's battery.
