I had used this product with no issue for several years even though I have always had a mild fragrance sensitivity. However, after buying this product several weeks ago, I started feeling nausea, headaches, fatigue, and worsened asthma symptoms constantly. Then one day, I ran the dishwasher while I was cooking in my kitchen, and my throat started to close! I had to go to the ER. It took me several more days to figure out that it was this dishwasher detergent that was causing all of these symptoms. Finally, after switching to a fragrance-free dishwasher detergent from another brand, cleaning out my dishwasher, and re-washing all my pots/pans, dishes, cups, and utensils, I finally feel healthy again. Even though my dishes looked clean while I using this product, whatever residue this detergent left on my all of my food/beverage surfaces had made me severely ill, so I can’t even say this product did a good job with cleaning.

Product does not dissolve yummy mess dishes do not look clean. Bought a container of 48 waste of money

I actually prefer these over cascade, they seem to clean just as well but they actually fully dissolve. Many times I find the cascade pods stuck in the little drawer with most of the cleaning powder clumped together.

This was my favorite dishwasher detergent. I bought it for years because I love how it cleaned, but MOST importantly it didn’t leave a scent behind on my dishes that I could taste in my food. I switched from Cascade to Finish for this reason. Then last fall I received a bag in my Subscribe & Save and noticed I could all of a sudden taste the fragrance. I was disappointed and started shopping around for a new dish soap. Recently I got to the bottom of my pod bin and there were some ancient Finish Quantum pods in the bottom (from before the change). Dang, I was once again sad to remember how well they cleaned with ZERO scent residue left over. I’m still trying to find something that compares. Please oh please bring back the old formula!!

Plastic dishes smell and leave bad taste in the mouth. a lot of forums are a buzz about this. Subsequently we're looking for a different brand. my imagination tells me some bean counter trying to save money to improve his bonus but in turn has the opposite effect similar to Boeing

The cleaning is still good, but now it seems they all smell like a urinal cake. WHICH MARKETING GENIUS THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?

I have used bought these in bulk for years (probably over a decade) from Sam’s club and always loved them because they cleaned the dishes well and left no scent behind. The most recent pack I opened and started to use leaves an awful smell and taste to my dishes. My travel coffee mugs are unusable at this point. I’m so bummed- we stopped using Cascade because of this. PLEASE listen to your customers and do away with the heavily scented product!

It does get everything clean. I use the rinse aid. Lately however theres a coating left on the plates ect. ( this happens in both the dishwashers) and my food just takes on the taste of these pods. Its awful. Ive had to switch brands.

I had to remove this product from. My house because it gave several family members headaches and itchy eyes because of the overpowering scent.

What have you done to your product?? Last batch I used ( and I have ONLy used them as recommended soap tabs by BOSCH) was merely awful smelling in the bag ..but it did not stink up the Dishwasher to the point I MUST RUN THREE TIMES over to just get it down to barely OK. What am I do to do now with bags of these stinkers.. did you cahnge the formula.. WHY?

Doesn't matter if I run this on normal, heavy, soak and wash, the pods leave stuck on food. Never had this problem when using Finish brand tablets. I think Finish is trying to lie to consumers and act like the pods are better than the tablets because they get to use less product for cleaning, but they are compromising quality. Very disappointed in Finish

Unbelievably disappointed in the horribly strong smell of these detergent pods. It’s so bad that it leaves a nasty soapy chemical taste in my insulated cups and glasses. I have had to throw out so much coffee and other drinks because they taste soapy. They still stink even after bringing an extra rinse cycle. I googled this and many others have complained about this strong smell for months and I’m disappointed the company has not pulled these from the shelves. I will be switching brands and its unfortunate I have to throw out so many pods.

We’ve been using this brand for years without any issue. It used to clean well without any lingering odor. New recently this new batch smells so bad. Ever I coming out of the dishwasher had this lingering chemical smell, especially plastic and silicone items. It’s so toxic that the food and drinks in those affected containers also smell and taste bad.

Doesn’t get the dishes clean leaves film on everything and pods do not dissolve all the way. What a waste of money don’t buy this product

I started purchasing this product after reading favorable reviews and I couldn't be more happy with the results! We have very hard water where we live and had learned to just accept hard water stains on our glassware and dishes. Now, using the Finish Quantum tabs, every time I empty the dishwasher and put the dishes away, they shine and sparkle.

We have used the Finish Quantum for several years and have not had any issues until now. It seems that the latest formula has been 'boosted'. The new formula leaves a film on the glasses and the strong scent leaches into the dinner/cook ware. Since we started using the latest package of 84, the utensil holder seems to have dissolved or at least softened.

I've used Quantum pods for years. The latest batch has a strong perfume smell that ends up affecting the taste of our food. Looks like I'll have to switch to Cascade. I'm very disappointed. Cleaners for dishes should not have a smell!
