Great Dino Toy with Fun Motions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child loves this little dinosaur toy! The wheel makes it move in a realistic fashion, the mouth opens and closes with a button on the tail. It looks pretty realistic, and the closing motion is gentle enough that i’m not worried about little fingers. As a bonus, it comes with a little stand so the dinosaur can stand up when it’s not being pushed around. I initially thought the stand was packaging and was very surprised and happy when I realized it was part of the toy. Highly recommend if you have a child that likes playing with dinosaurs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is amazing. First and foremost it has an amazing build quality. My toddler has played with it, thrown it, tried to stand on it and give it the extra toddler love. And this has stood up to the test. This is kind of a cute toy and has a cute way of walking. It helps those crawlers around the living room and in the world of 10 minute engagements, he has been playing with it for hours. This is his favorite crawling toy. He also came up with an ingenious way of eating fruits with the neck movement motion, which is kinda cool. Overall, I rate this toy 5/5 and will recommend it for your little guy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children are loving this running Dino! My son squeals with excitement every time we push him to make him run. The running Dino came packaged wonderfully and was easy to open but secure. The Dino also comes with a stand that you have to get the balance just right in order for it to stand in there properly.
Sturdy toy for little hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son enjoys playing with this dinosaur. It is a great size for pretend play. The included stand helps him to easily set up a “scene” for pretend play, or it can be removed. The toys is sturdy and has withstood the rough play of two active boys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid and I had a great time with this one! The trigger-activated lunge and chomp motion is super fun, making the Spinosaurus feel alive as it darts forward with moving arms and legs. The 9-inch size is perfect for small hands, and the “real feel” spiny fin adds a cool tactile element. It’s durable, surviving plenty of rough play, but the tail trigger can be a bit stiff for younger kids to squeeze. Overall, it’s a fantastic toy for sparking imaginative dinosaur adventures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dino toy is a great alternative to tech toys! It helps them use their imagination in great ways. The roller on the bottom helps kids pretend that the dinosaur is running or chasing something. And the stand you can put in when you are done playing is great for storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher-Price Imaginext Jurassic World Rebirth Sprinting Spinosaurus Dinosaur Toy With Lunge & Chomp is unique in the realm of dinosaur toys. This Spinosaurus has moving legs that give it the effect of running as you roll it by hand on its clear center wheel that looks like a gear. There is a red trigger style button mechanism at the bottom of the tail. This allows it to open its mouth and give some extra action to the play dynamic with the upper leg movements. Rolling the Spinosaurus on its wheel will not automatically cause the upper legs or mouth to move. The red trigger must be pressed and held for that to happen. With that engaged, the Spinosaurus’s mouth opens and closes while the head tosses side to side. The red trigger can be pressed to have the mouth open and close while not rolling, but then the upper legs also stay stationary. The trigger and wheel must be used together for the upper legs to move. The back has a soft rubbery texture on its sail. My son has already managed to tear up the spiky spine area along the top of the sail rather effortlessly. We also noticed within the first day of play that the left leg is rubbing along the part of the body it is attached to causing a mark to form. Although it was quite awesome to see our son enjoying the Sprinting Spinosaurus the first few days, it did not hold his interest for long. Without the stand, or leaning it against something, it falls over. The blue plastic stand that comes attached to the packaging is actually more stable while it stays attached to the packaging. Once removed and sitting on a flat surface, the Spinosaurus does not display evenly. It leans and tends to fall. The stand could have maybe been heavier at the base and a half an inch taller to allow it to sit properly. This toy is more for short bursts of excitement and active play. Kids love the movement and want to watch it. Which means someone else needs to operate the toy. That is great for interacting with your kids. We did notice while playing that the gears do catch while rolling it, regardless of the surface. Too fast, too slow, you’re going to hear gear grinding. I’m not entirely sure how long it would take for something to break. The visible metal screws take away from the visual appeal. Knowing something may need to be repaired later and having access to those areas might also be a good thing. It’s an interactive toy that doesn’t have batteries. Not really something that can be posed or standing. It’s a bit loud with all the moving parts, even without any added sounds. I do recommend keeping the stand attached to the box for displaying and putting it on a shelf when not being used. It could be a fragile toy. I would get it again, because my child enjoys it so much, even in short bursts. We work a lot on fine and gross motor development and skill building activities. Fisher-Price Imaginext thought a bit outside the box with this one and we like it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is durable as it’s been used both indoors and out now. Sandbox as it stomped through other toys and in the grass chasing other smaller Dino’s! It has upheld through 3 young boys with no breakage or loose pieces. Providing hours of fun imaginative play

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler absolutely loves dinosaurs. This one comes with a bracket that allows to be a stand or to give a “running” boost. It’s a great indoor and outdoor toy. When off its bracket it’s a nice size dinosaur.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a fun toy! While the Dino is stationary the squeezing the red lever in the back will cause the Dino to jut out his neck and head and he will open his mouth in a chomping motion. When you roll him across the floor away his legs run! While rolling him across the floor and squeezing the red lever will cause his legs, his arms, and his head to rotate around as if he was in a crazy chase with his prey. It’s fun to watch and fun to play, my 6 year old is very amused with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really fun dinosaur toy that has a running feature and biting feature. The head has a slight swivel which allows you to bite in a slightly different angle. It is a fun toy but I gave it four stars because you hold onto the tail to make it run and the trigger to make him bite is also on the tail. When you try to make the dinosaur run and bite at the same time the legs hit my fingers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This interactive RUNNING dinosaur is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It’s ingenious design is ergonomic to little hands, by incorporating a trigger under the tail (for controlling the movement of the head and mouth) and it has a wheel at the base— which allows the dinosaur to “run” as fast or as slow as your little one chooses. This super fun dinosaur is 100% interactive and has full articulation, in addition to realistic (yet not scary) features. This sturdy toy has been a super hit in our household & has given not only our little one lots of laughs, but has resulted in many laughs from the adults too! This Imaginext Dino encourages movement and activity and does not make any loud noises or have any flashing lights so it’s great to bring with you for car rides, or to play with at night, etc. An imaginative idea of a running dinosaur, paired with very sturdy materials, makes for a great toy to be enjoyed for years. If you are on the fence, definitely buy it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for the Jurassic World Sprinting Spinosaurus, especially with my oldest son's newfound fascination with dinosaurs and the Jurassic World series on Netflix. His current favorite is the Dilophosaurus, which might explain some of the disinterest, but unfortunately, this Spinosaurus just didn't capture the attention of any of my kids. The toy features a wheel on its belly for rolling, and when you pull a red trigger and push it along, the head extends, the mouth opens, and the legs move. It also comes with a display stand. What's missing, however, are batteries and any kind of sound effects, which could have added to the excitement. A big disappointment is that it doesn't 'sprint' on its own; if you roll it and let go, it immediately topples over. My kids collectively played with it for perhaps 15 minutes before it was relegated to the toy bin. While the Spinosaurus itself is well-made and durable, it simply doesn't offer enough interactive play to hold a child's attention. Unless you have a child who specifically loves Spinosaurus and enjoys a more passive toy experience, I would not recommend this one for its limited play value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun interactive toy for boys and girls. Hold the tail and push ahead and press the button to make the dinosaur chomp. So fun! My one issue is that before I received the toy I thought you pressed a button to make it run from the stand, didn’t realize you had to physically push the toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really sweet toy, especially for a JW4 fan - but even not! The dino runs on a single wheel which mimics car play - the motion of vrooming a car which kids are used to. When you wheel it, the legs move, and pull the trigger on the tail and it lunges forward and opens its mouth. It makes for some epic dino pretend play. The overall wheeling/trigger is very easy for my four and eight year old to use - it's a natural motion, the right size for little hands, and very comfortable. It's a well-designed toy overall. I like that this is a low-tech toy that is highly engaging, with motions that my kids get a kick out of.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves the Imaginext dinosaurs and always asks for one every time we go to the store. I wish they were on the cheaper side but they’ve held out for quite some time and they are definitely worth the price. It has lifelike movements and easy to operate functions for anyone. The color of it makes it more realistic and my son’s eyes light up when it moves its arms and legs. This dinosaur gives him so much imagination that he plays for it for hours. I love this line of dinosaurs and highly recommend it for anyone who has children that loves them too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The boys love this dino , the eyes are very real as per 3 yr old , no batteries so it is more hands on imagination which is awesome , the button under the tail moves the head, arms , the spine & legs moves when it is moving which the kids push . It is so easy to play with that even the special needs boy which has mobility issues got it going . The boys played with it in the grass with no issues also on the gravel walkway and had no issues , the little girl down the block also liked playing with it , the children played dinos with this toy and other dino toys for a good 2 hours , they all loved the way the head, spine, legs move , I will have to look for more , so each child has one when playing .
