Everybody in my house enjoyed eating them às they have a great maple cinnamon flavor, which is a household favorite. We would purchase these again.

The texture is not too dry nor too wet. It's soft and definitely tastes like good scone dough. These would be lovely with a pairing of apple butter or lemon curd. I personally added raspberry jam to the coffee cake version. I would definitely recommend this for a tea party or brunch event! So quick to make and recipe instructions are very straight forward requiring minimal work!

It was very simple and really helped eliminate some of the steps required when baking from scratch. Now, I’ve made coffee cake from scratch many times, I have a passion for baking and know my way around a kitchen very well, so I was rather disappointed at how dense and dry this was. I know nothing beats homemade, but this wasn’t very good. I could tell right away when I started mixing the ingredients. The dough was very dry and it’s not even supposed to be dough, it’s batter. The “crumble” topping had the opposite problem, it was very wet. Overall, the coffee cake turned out ok. I cooked it for the lowest amount of time recommended, but despite my best effort, it just didn’t hit. Maybe the scone is better.

Only confusing part was where it said to add cream. There are a lot of different creams that could be used. But other than that, super easy. They tasted absolutely delicious.
