[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Fiskars White PowerLever Bypass Pruners for free from Influenster and Fiskars in exchange for my honest review. These pruners are white with FISKARS P57 displayed. They are lightweight and fit nearly perfect in my small(ish) hand. The bypass blade is for making clean cuts. The PowerLever mechanism increases your cutting power by reducing the cutting effort. Ideal for cutting twigs and branches up to 20mm. I’ve used them on my houseplants and found that they work better on thicker stems than thin ones. The ambidextrous locking mechanism is a little hard to operate at first, or rather takes a little more effort. After using it for awhile I can now lock and unlock it with just my one thumb. In my opinion, these PowerLever Bypass Pruners by Fiskars are durable and work great. An added bonus is they also come with a LifeTime warranty.

They do a quick and easy job of snapping small branches and such right off without having to squeeze too hard. They also cut them clean off and don't leave any residual part of the branch remaining that you have to cut again or yank off, which can be really annoying with less capable shears

At first they were had to open but once you got opening and shutting they got a little looser so you can open with one handed. They seem very well made. These are my new favorite pruners now.

I attacked my rose bush with an electric saw & made quite a mess of it. 3 days later I saw this campaign so jumped at the chance to try them. They really tidied up the destruction I had performed & now I’m confident my roses will grow back - I had hacked at them & split a lot of the branches. After that I took to working on the dead wood of my lilac & then my cherry tree. I’m sure they are not meant for this type of work but the did the job. I would definitely recommend them

Makes pruning back rose bushes and small shrubs a breeze - no need to worry about your hand cramping up. I love that it has a lock, but when unlocked it can be a bit large for some hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are aesthetically pleasing however they are very lightweight. Would probably only be useful in indoor gardening situations. The safety lock is extremely difficult to undo. I wanted my 60 yr old mom (who uses power tools mind you) to use these but she literally can’t get it unlocked unless I do it and I have to use a lot of force. Whereas the ones she has already are way sturdier and the safety lock is much more manageable to undo. There’s no way someone with arthritis can use these. The grip opens so wide my mom could barely hold them in one hand. Not good for small hands. So over all I’d recomend for someone with house plants and that’s about all.

It is very hard to unlock for a child and maybe even some adults. It will most likely require maintenance pretty often just because the blade gets dull pretty fast. I would rather spend a little bit more and buy a better quality pruner.
