Q: Do these really work for left handed kids? Sometimes they say they work for both, but they really don't work well for lefties...

Q: Are these scissors suitable for left handed children? Or just right handed? Or both?
A: HI NY Housewife, The 5in scissors are comfortable for both right- and left-handed users to hold. These scissors do not have a “hand-specific” contouring so it should be comfortable to hold in either hand. However the blades are positioned for a right hand user. Fiskars Softgrip® Kids Left-handed Pointed-tip Scissors are available at Target in the Back-to-School program in store. These are designed for left-handed users – the blades are flipped so it is easier for the left-handed user to see what they are cutting. Thanks
