Q: What is the age restriction for this? My child is 2 and is in need of iron. I’ve tried the Mary Ruth liquid drops but those didn’t sit well with her stomach and it was hard to get her to take that by mouth or even with food.
A: The serving size for children 2 & 3 years of age is 1/2 tablet daily, with food. For children 4 years of age and older, the serving size is 1 tablet daily, with food. Under adult supervision, this product should be fully chewed or crushed.

Q: Would the serving size be half a tablet for a 2 year old or 1 whole tablet?
A: The bottle says 1/2 tablet for ages 2-3, and a whole tablet ages 4+. Since a child's weight varies regardless of age, you may want to check with the Target pharmacist or your child's Dr. Both of my children take these vitamins willingly. My older child just takes it and chews it up. My younger child gets hers crushed in her yogurt, applesauce, etc. My children's dentist prefers these over the gummies too. Best of luck.
