Although this will serve the purpose it was purchased for, it’s absolutely not what was pictured. The advertised photo obviously shows a tufted, cushioned top. What I received is smooth and flat

Not as advertised

The photo clearly shows that the black and brown options have tufted lids. I received my brown ottoman and the lid was plain, not tufted. The tufted lid makes a huge difference aesthetically so I will be returning. Also the side slip was so loose, it wouldn’t hold anything.

Sturdy and Good Value

These 2 ottomans are nice looking, sturdy practical and reasonably priced. If you want the black or brown color your only choice of material is vinyl. Would like the same choice of fabric in black or darker grey but still works with my decor. If I could add anything else, it would be handles on either side and the ability to really use the lid as a tray. I suppose you could but it doesn't seem to be meant for that judging by the material and finishing on the underside of lid. That is what may be keeping them at low price.
