Beautifully designed watch! Comfortable, heart rate equipped, smartwatch uses Google's Wear OS App. Works with both Android and iOS. One of the smaller and definitely lightest smartwatches on the market. 41mm bezel is a blue anodized aluminum - color & quality reminds me of Apple's blue iPod touch. 18mm silicone watch band is bright blue with a white inner ring & an aluminum clasp. Watch strap is easily interchangeable.
I like this watch a lot. I read a lot of reviews just after i bought this online and was worried id made a bad decision but i think some of the reviews are a bit dramatic. It has all the features it says it does. The battery lasts all day i wish it lasted a few days before needing a charge but its really not a problem to plug it in for an hour at night. I read that it was slow and lagged but the only time ive noticed any lag is when i was using it while apps were installing. The one thing i dont care for is the google fit app. Its just okay. I used to have a Garmin watch and i just prefer their fitness tracking. I wish you could compete with other people like you can on the garmin app. Maybe fossil will create a better fitness app in the future. Also an app similar to garmin may exist and i havnt found it yet. Overall love the watch super cute has all the basic fitness and smartwatch functions.
I really like my watch because it does what is supposed to. It moves a little slow, but that's okay with me. On the second day I dropped it while walking to my car and a very small plastic piece broke off. This piece hold the wrist band so a repair is necessary. I called customer service to see if this was covered under warranty and it wasn't. I feel that the repair is really expensive for what needs to be done. They also told me the repair might require talking the glass off, which would be more expensive. I super glued it and that it got the job done. Perhaps I'll have to show glue it again at some point, but it has been done so far. Also, I had a Fitbit before and it used to say I got 10,000 steps by 4 pm and this watch tells be I'm barely passing 5,000 by 4 pm. I'm not sure what's up with that because it could be that Fitbit has a sensitive pedometer or something like that.
It's huge on my small wrist. I will not use it without a protective face cover. The watch sits up high on the wrist, therefore will be easily banged against something like a wall or door. No idea what to do with the buttons on the side. No instructions came with watch except how to charge, and then download the app on my phone. Paired nicely. For now I will recommend since my sister likes this watch so much. But also the jury is out.
Loved the watch and didn't experience any latency issues bored in some other reviews. Didn't use speech to text much but app notifications and Google Pay fictions were awesome. Unfortunately, my watch was knocked off my table and there is a ceramic piece that connects the face and band - that part broke and rendered my watch unusable. It's also not covered under the warranty and costs $80 to replace. Why is there even a ceramic piece on a watch?? Super disappointed in Fossil by this and a bummer since I liked the watch itself.
