The entire Lamp was crooked. It looked nice but had to send it back due to poor quality. I did order a replacement because it is a nice looking lamp.

Mixed bag till they get it right
Love the lamp, but it took 3 tries to get it right. One time the bolts holding the slate were very loose, so the slab rocked front to back; one time the slate was unnaturally scratched (like by a screw driver or something used to tighten the bolts?); one time the cord of the lamp came out of the side which had the nicest colors of the slab, so you couldn't see how pretty that side was unless you wanted your guests to see the slab and the cord.

Cool looking lamp
I have this lamp on a side table next to a small couch in my office. It is beautiful, contemporary, and cool looking. I get lots of compliments on the lamp.
