The picture is deceiving this arrived very shiny like a new penny. Wanted the antique copper look as stated. Since not copper and mates is aluminum can this be darkened and how. Didn’t open due to moving and contractor installed past 60 day return no box ? What can be done?

Really nice light, slight antique finish. I didn’t plug it in, I cut the wire and installed it into the ceiling electrical box and swagged it over to center the light over my table using the provided hook. Everything was included so it was pretty easy. Goes well with an Edison light bulb. Found the light doesnt glare if you put it about 3 and half feet or higher above the table. Terrific product.

Just purchased this item. The photo online appears to be an antique copper... but it came in as a bright copper in color. I am disappointed... trying to decide if I will return it or live with it.

The heaviest thing in the box is the chain!, While the copper finish dome is the lightest thing, it is very pretty. It is over my breakfast bar hanging where a previous swag of 25 years was. It was packed well, instructions were easy and even though the inline switch was close to the plug, I bought a remote switch that in my kitchen is easier than reaching near the outlet.

The shades on my 2 lamps were not as pictured...they are plain copper colored. My biggest complaint is the dark brown cord used by the manufacturer. Since the cord on a swag lamp intertwines with the gold chain the cord needs to be gold so that it is less obvious. I ended up keeping my lamps but I took off the brown cord and put on gold ones. This turned out to be a full day project as I needed to go buy supplies and then take the lamp base apart to get to the connection point. I wonder why the manufacturer would choose to use dark brown cord in a gold chain. Now that the cords are changed to gold, I love the lamps.
