It’s a perfectly functional item but the small part at the end of the roll holding bar pops off.. Plus, there’s no need for the decorative ring on top…you don’t want this kind of item making noises. This ring piece does not stay upright like the product photo falsely shows. See photo I have provided. It’s a nice looking item and does it’s job but the aforementioned issues cost it plenty of stars for me. I wouldn’t have chosen it had the product photo not been misleading.

Has a nice shiny silver but was put together crooked. Took a little finessing to get it to stand straight. Decorative ring at the top is a little rough. All in all, it looks great in my new bathroom.

This is a great freestanding toilet tissue holder because it has a heavy weighted base. Some reviews mention the toilet tissue comes off when you're using it. Simply face the open end of the spool away from the toilet. Then when you pull on the roll, you're pulling toward the closed end. With the holder open at one end, it's as simple as it gets when it's time to replace the roll.
