ive never had anything freeze dried that was so hard to bite into….. this doesnt seem like a safe or quality product. mangos are super soft and chewy so they shouldnt freeze dry like actual rocks. as people have pointed out, the country of origin has changed. nobody knows who owns this factory or where the food is sourced - this is kind of messed up - especially since the package tells us they source the best quality items. okay, target.

I'll be honest, the Trader Joe's version of the freeze dried mango slices blows this brand out of the water. The Good and Gather brand has shriveled pieces that are often chewy and often quite tart. The TJ's brand is far superior and is slightly less expensive.

They changed the orgin of the mangoes from Thailand or Mexico to China. Gross. My kids hate them now. Sometimes they were good. If they were the big airy pieces. Lots of the time they were hard chewy pieces. The China ones are disgusting

Not the same as before. So hard!
These used to be so good, but their process for freeze drying must have changed. Many pieces are so hard you can’t even eat them but you don’t know until you break them in half or take a bite (ouch)!

Disappointed
We like the Good and Gather Freeze Dried Strawberries and decided to try the Mango. Regret the purchase. Disappointed with the large slices and flavor. The pieces were thick and not soft. The flavor was interesting as the flavor starts out fishy tasting and at the end you get some of the mango flavor.

Hard freeze dried fruit!?!
These were the weirdest freeze dried mangoes I've ever had! They were sliced so thick. I almost broke a tooth biting into one! My daughter is special needs and I give her freeze dried foods often because they are healthy and easy for her to chew. So glad I sampled one of these before I gave to her!!
