My favorite coffee beans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Black Knight coffee has a rich deep flavor. I can make it strong without being bitter. I prefer to grind my beans just before making a mug of coffee. The beans stay fresh in the original bag since air can be expressed after bag is sealed.

Bold, Rich, and Reliable – My Favorite Daily Brew
The Organic Black Knight is hands down one of my favorite coffees of all time. I usually buy it in the whole bean five-pound bag, and it never disappoints. I’ve also had it in the Keurig pods, which are great for convenience—but when you grind the beans yourself, especially coarse for French press or percolator, the aroma and flavor are unbeatable. It’s bold, rich, and smooth—everything I want in a dark roast. The flavor has depth without bitterness, and it delivers that strong coffee experience I’m always looking for. You can tell it’s high quality, and being organic is a big plus too. I’ve been exploring some of their flavored options recently and enjoying those, but the Black Knight remains my go-to. It’s just one of those roasts that hits all the right notes. Even the name and logo feel fitting—it’s got that dark, powerful vibe, and the taste lives up to it. Fresh Roasted Coffee nailed it with this one. Highly recommend if you’re into serious dark roasts that don’t mess around.

Smells horrible even when brewed,
Smells horrible even when brewed, tastes okay. I usually like dark roast but this one is just weird, never had a coffee like it in over 20 years of trying different stuff. Won't get it again but would recommend trying a small size.

I tried the gourmet it was good but the organic black knight was exactly what I've been looking for! I have acid reflux and all the coffee I've tried in stores gave me heart burn so bad! I tried the gourmet, it was good but not as good as the organic! I enjoy my coffee in the morning so much! I don't get acid reflux from the coffee and the flavor is the best! Thank you for making it great and adorable!

Wonderful blend

The first cup of the first pot suddenly made life worth living at 7 am. It is definitely more popular than the Luwak I brought, at least after I told everyone what Luwak was. FRC Actually Ships Higher Grade Freshly Roasted Coffee
There is a big difference between the taste of fresh roasted coffee and supermarket shelved coffee. Fresh Roasted Coffee is "fresh". Freshly roasted coffee should be bagged with a one-way relief valve, as freshly roasted coffee de-gasses for several days after the roasting process. Any coffee that is vacuum packed isn't fresh. For best results, please consider investing in a burr-based coffee grinder. The storage life of freshly roasted beans is longer compared to ground coffee. I typically only order single source coffees, but I've always enjoyed this particular blend.

My favorite coffee yet!
If you like a bold roast, this is like seriously gonna be your favorite ever! The aroma when you open the bag is just amazing!! It’s so strong and for anyone that likes that, this is your holy grail. It’s so good that I don’t even add any cream or sugar to it and just enjoy the strong bold coffee taste! If I could give this coffee 11 stars out of 10 I would. It’s a staple at our home.
