Blows out cool air love the noise volume as well but kinda hard to clean

One of the rooms in our house is significantly far from the two in-wall A.C. units, leading to uncomfortably warm temperatures in that room. In an attempt to mitigate the issue, especially considering we were to have long-term guests staying, we purchased the Nomad fan. This fan met all of our expectations and did its job, just as advertised. It has FOUR levels of performance, ranging from a very mild breeze to a fairly strong air blow, each of which has a use depending on how warm the room or people in it are. The air blown is not like that of a typical fan, but is actually cool and dry. The unit itself is light and portable, easy to clean, and can be placed just about anywhere thanks to its shape and design.Unfortunately, the fan we purchased stopped working after nearly a year - although the unit was turned on and all functions appeared to work, it failed to further blow air. We began debugging it by following the troubleshooting instructions - unfortunately, this did not help us. Next, we reached out to Dreo Customer Care to receive support. Carol (the customer care representative) is, by far, one of (if not THE) best representatives I have had the pleasure of resolving a product issue with. I decided to reach out via Fridgidaire (which continued via e-mail) and received responses in a very timely manner (<24 hours). Once I described the issue in detail, Carol was equally quick with providing a solution and sent us a replacement unit at no charge, not only staying true to the warranty but also making this process as quick and painless as possible. Thank you, Carol & Dreo!Additional comments related to my rating levels:- Sleep Mode: N/A: I have not used this feature nor do I care for it. Perhaps one day...- Noise level: The fan is EXTREMELY quiet. Coupled with its reasonable cooling capabilities, it is simply perfect for use at night (contrary to our in-wall A.C. units that hum like turbine engines).- Remote control: Works without any issues, the buttons are self explanatory, the fan responds from a long distance (I used it up to 20ft), and it is nice to the touch.

The first fan I received had an issue with noise so I contacted Dreo support. My inquiry was answered promptly by Tina who stayed with me every step of the way to provide a resolution to my issue. My fan is whisper quiet and I really like it for use in the bedroom. All of the modes included in the fan are excellent including the speed selection, oscillation and the mute button. I'm very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this company.

This fan is very powerful and I like that it has a quiet mode (no beeps) for night time. It keeps me nice and cool at night and have been comfortable at night in my room with no A/C here in California during summer. I wish that the remote lit up when you touched it because controlling the fan at night with the remote is very difficult unless I use the light from my phone.

It fits perfectly in my nightstand and blows out very Kool air to be such a small fan

Great fan! I ended up buying another one for my husband's night stand. Very quiet. Looks nice, priced well, has different speeds, ocilattes quietly.

I'm not usually the person who will go out of their way to write a review, but this fan has changed everything for me. I cannot control the temperature in my apartment so I desperately needed a fan to keep me cool during the night and this was more than I could hope for. It's tall enough that the air hits me directly while sleeping. The fan has a ton of power even on the third setting. The fourth setting is overkill and I'd say with that amount of power it acts like a cooling unit which is definitely beneficial when the rooms are hot.It is super easy to use and to put together took me 2 minutes at the most to figure everything out. It's also incredibly lightweight, I can easily take the fan out of my room into the living room. One of the best purchases I've made, great quality fan.

Fan is quiet and does not take up much space. I don't know why I expected it to be a desktop. Way too big for that. It definitely needs to be placed on the floor.

Don't let it's size fool you, it's got power

This has provided a relief in my apartment space. Its set up in an odd way where the window unit is unable to reach my room and I've finally been able to sleep during this hot weather thanks to this fan. It doesn't work the way that I thought, but I think I was looking for more of a miracle. It works a lot better than the fans that I have set up. I do still need an additional fan to help cool down the space, but it does more than just push hot air around. It does provide some coolness to the space.The pressure of the air blown out is nice, as well. I've been easily moving it between rooms because sometimes the window unit is too loud and it's nice to have this instead. It's a nice replacement when there's not an excessive heat warning outside. Though while I do love it, my cats seem to be afraid of it. Not sure if it's the noise or the fact that it moves but they're slowly accepting the fan tower into their lives. At least, I don't have to worry about them knocking it over.

I love this fan. very quiet. I just realized it filters the air it expels. It's easy to clean and at the volume it produces, the filter is definitely a positive feature. This is a 5 star purchase, I don't read 5 star ratings and do not write them. People be crazy. You will like this fan.

This fan is sleek, has a small footprint, pushes decent airflow, and is low noise. I didn't receive a remote but that's not super important to me. I will be using this in my bathroom...it's actually perfect for post-shower! The oscillation feature works fine, but I will not be using it at this time.Overall, this is good deal for a good fan!

Finally a powerful fan that doesn't take up as much space as my lasko! We have a small bedroom that's taken up mostly by our king size bed so there isn't much room on either side of it. I don't have to sidle anymore. And it's QUIET!

Modern, quiet, good air flow

The fan works great. Very quiet! It is a little short. I like the night mode that turns off the screen light. The 7 hour time is convenient.

I just got this today . It's pretty easy to set up. I do wish it was a bit taller but it's not a bad height. I wish it had maybe 2 more fan modes. But it does have a good air flow but could be a bit more strong / cool. But overall works good and the issues I do have with it like the height and modes are minor issues.
