A: It sounds like you have a high copper content in your water. Flush your icemaker with a nickel friendly icemaker cleaning product. Try using distilled/reverse osmosis water when making ice.

Q: Does this ice maker keep your ice frozen or do I need to immediately transfer the ice to my freezer?

A: The area where the ice is placed after being made is not refrigerated or insulated. It is recommended that ice produced be transferred to zipper lock type bags for storage in your conventional freezer.

I put the ice basket in the top of my dishwasher, and now it's melted out of shape. I've looked everywhere online and can't seem to find out how to get a replacement. Feel like I have a really expensive paper weight now, since it needs the basket to function.

While the 1st batch took a couple of minutes longer, the rest were very fast. As the machine got colder, the ice cubes were larger in size. We love this machine and it certainly beats buying a new fridge because of the insanely high prices!

It was a great product but died before 1 year. Then I got a replacement with the 1 year warranty and it lasted a little over a year so now I can’t even get a replacement with the warranty. Also impossible to clean
