I've been buying the Market Pantry brand mozzarella sticks for a few years, as they were a quick and tasty snack at a reasonable price. However, the last box of these I purchased was significantly worse than any previous boxes. This was also the first box I purchased with the 'updated' box design. I'm not sure if this is purely coincidental, or if they also updated the recipe along with the box. In any case, this most recent box was bad enough to put me off of this product completely. The cheese had no flavor and a strange texture, not like mozzarella at all. I also noticed the sticks had a faint but unpleasant smell which was not present in any of the previous boxes. I'm not sure if they recently changed the type/quality of the cheese in these sticks, but it is a definite downgrade to the older sticks. Unfortunately, for now I've switched to a different brand of sticks.

They changed the recipe and now the cheese doesn't melt - no matter how long you cook them for. I even put one in the microwave for 30 seconds after I cooked it in the oven and the cheese didn't melt, it just got harder. Change the recipe back please. They used to be great!

Gonna clear the air first of all regarding the claims of mold. There is no mold on these… it’s called herbs!!! Also known as seasoning. Secondly, there are no air fryer directions, but having purchased other mozzarella sticks with air fryer directions, I just loosely followed the directions for the other brands and they came out great. 350 for 5-6 minutes.

I'm a big fan of cheese sticks. There are many different varieties of sticks in the wild, but my personal favorites have a crispy breading and ooey gooey mozzarella inside. I liked the breading on these, but, I can't even believe these words matter sense in this order in the English language, but I felt there was too much cheese. It was hot enough to have melted well, but it was so dense that the it was just a hot clump of cheese. Not the best, but not the worst

These were absolutely delicious! I read some comments about there's having mold on them because there were green specs on the sticks, however, that is just the seasoning. There weren't instructions for how to cook in the air fryer but I cooked mine in my air fryer on 400 degrees for 8 minutes and they turned out perfect. I highly recommend these for a yummy snack!
