Steam and mash. I add sweetner, cinnamon and a touch of butter for a mashed side dish. Well-done product. Nice to replace sweet potato with, even for the holidays. Lighter and less carbs that yams! Easily make a soup with it. Add to sauces to disguise veggies in red sauce, etc.

Contained seeds. Wish I would've seen them before I started blending it up with an immersion blender to make a pasta sauce. I've never encountered seeds in bagged frozen squash before.

Picture on bag shows nuce chunks of squash. My bag was mostly stringy squash with seeds. There were several chunchs of what appeared to be rind. We tried to break apart all the chunks into a smooth creamy mixture and all I got was a atringy mess that I had to pick seeds out of. It was pretty much all the parts of the squash that I throw out when I buy a whole one and clean it out myself.

I used to buy this all the time and it was good, but the last two bags I've bought were almost all rind and no squash. I'm not picky about food, but I had to throw about 75% of it in the trash because it was like trying to chew a watermelon rind. It's so hard that it isn't possible to eat it. I thought I just got a bad batch, but after seeing the rest of the reviews, I'm pretty sure Target is buying leftover squash rinds because it's cheaper than squash, and scamming people into buying it. If you need frozen squash pieces, buy it at Aldi. Theirs is great.

Out of 3 cups of product in the package, I had at least 1/2 cup of seeds, peels and green, hard pieces of what I assume was squash. I ended up tossing the whole thing rather than picking through it for the edible pieces.

Decent taste but poor quality. I got a few bags for my toddler and I to have for an easy lunch. Multiple pieces were hard from cutting too close to the rind and leaving parts of it on. I wouldn’t care but for the price I shouldn’t have to worry about it.
