This favorite day crème brûlée came out great! This was my first time ever having crème brûlée. So, I have no bias but I know I love custard and crunchy sugar! I did have to confirm the temp to cook it at. The directions say to broil on high. I found that the broiler on high should reach about 500 degrees Fahrenheit. That worked perfectly for me!

I’ve bought this several times and I’m impressed with the taste. I haven’t had any issues with oiliness like some of the other reviews mention, I’ve made sure to follow the broiling and cooling instructions. But, I wish there was a way to refill the ramekins because I’m starting to accumulate quite a few of them.

Not sure how others are getting an oily consistency. I simply put my oven broiler on high, let it warm up for a couple minutes. Then take the creme brulee straight out of the freezer, onto a baking pan, sprinkle the sugar on top and straight into the oven 3-4in from the top burner element. 4-5mins later, out of the oven to cool down for 10mins.

these taste so so good, if you have a kitchen torch it's much easier to burn, but even in the oven this is nearly fool proof as long as you pay attention. I also love the little dishes it comes in, they're the perfect size to reuse as my cats food bowl

Easy and great to do if you don't have a torch. Using the broiler like the instructions said worked out perfect. Hardest part is waiting the 10 minutes for it to cool and then 10 more minutes in the fridge
