My family absolutely loves this ice cream! So sad it’s already unavailable for the season. Hope it comes back next year. The chocolate is perfect and not too chocolatey.

I was excited, expecting something special to tantalize my taste buds.... I took my first bite. This hot chocolate ice cream, is chocolate ice cream. It is good, but I like chocolate ice cream. I probably won't buy it again because of this price it's best to move on to an ice cream that's not as expensive. A little disappointing.

This was our favorite ice cream last year. I’m disappointed that they changed the recipe. Now it just tastes like regular chocolate with some chocolate bits inside :( I hope they go back to the other recipe next winter.

Trying this icecream I immediatly notice its rich, chocolatey flavor that instantly reminds you of a cozy cup of hot cocoa on a cold day. Its actually really good, It's creamy, smooth, and has a sweet depth that satisfies your chocolate cravings. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a chocolate lover this was high quality chocolate ice cream. However, I couldn’t tell it was “hot cocoa” vs regular chocolate ice cream. The marshmallow swirls was a nice touch. My favorite was the chocolate flakes as someone who doesn’t like to have to chew their ice cream. I did really enjoy this ice cream and highly recommend it especially when you find this brand on sale. I received an incentive to write this review.

Haven't tried yet, but i had to come on and leave a "COMMON SENSE" review. I am excited to try this ice cream with my kids, so I figured let me check the reviews. Seriously, people ,I'm banging my head against the wall.. NO CINNAMON is what half of you all are crying over? I could see if they forgot to add the milk or coconut powder, but the cinnamon? Embarrassed by the world we live in. People sprinkle the dang cinnamon on for yourself! It's really not that hard SMH 🙄 Not as if I ordered a bottle of ice tea and they forgot the bottle..I'm sitting here telling my son that if it doesn't taste much like hot coco, I have a back up plan. Mix some hot chocolate powder with a pinch of milk, so it's still a thick consistency but liquidity enough to drizzle all over the ice cream. Maybe even warm it first before drizzling it. Then squirt a generous about of whip cream and sprinkle some coco powder on that! Now that sounds amazing. Ya'll carring on about the cinnamon, come on now , and put the imagination to work. Now, before I go, I'm just want to say that this message has no mean intentions. Honestly, im just joking around,making a funny. I'm sure I've spelled a million things wrong and used the wrong there or their , or then, or than. I'm great at that! My spelling may be atrocious but at least I have a decent sense of humor and can make fun of myself. Ok but anyway, buy the ice cream like I am, give it a try. If it lacks CINNAMON what are we all gonna do? For those who said sprinkle it on ourselves, you are absolutely correct and will enjoy your ice cream :) Again i hope nobody was offended by a little ice cream humor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to try this Favorite Day Hot Cocoa Ice Cream and it must have been meant to be because we got the last container at our local Target when I placed my drive up order, lol! It is hot cocoa flavored chocolate ice cream with marshmallow flavored swirl and chocolate flakes. It is SUPER sweet tasting. More so than most other chocolate ice creams I've had. I feel like it could stand to be a lot more chocolaty. The chocolate flavor was not as strong as I'd like for the price and flavor it was supposed to be. My chocolate loving daughter agreed with me. My other daughter and son liked it. But they tend to favor vanilla over chocolate. I did like that the chocolate flakes are very tiny and thin though because I don't like big chunks of hard chocolate in my ice cream. I might buy it again for my kids if they ask and it's in stock but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. It is a bit pricey for the lack of chocolate flavor and artificial tastes. It is just ok. The ice cream is okay. The Mexican Hot Chocolate version from previous seasons was way better. It was something special. This one is regular and nothing to get excited about.

This ice cream is so good. I never found it last year but it turns out I wouldn't have bought it because I don't like cinnamon. I love this with the chocolate pieces. I wish this was year round.

To the people complaining that it no longer has cinnamon; just sprinkle some on and it tastes the way it used to. Not as evenly so, but it's passable.

It is the perfect mixture and taste just like hot chocolate. We love the sweetness of the marshmallows, and the little chocolate flakes to add crunch. the back of the ice cream shows how to make a sundae with it, Which I think is a nice added touch. I like that they incorporated some recipe. You can try on the back other than empty space. Overall, we are really happy with it and it was a great dessert! Excellent like all these types of ice cream. Haven't found a better choice

Yummy little holiday treat!

I didn’t try this last year, so I can’t compare.. but, I do like this version a lot! I like rocky road, but I don’t care for the nuts, and this is similar. I enjoy the flavor, and think it tastes great!

This isn’t great. Since I didn’t try last year’s option, I wanted to give it a shot. I can absolutely tell you that swapping out the cinnamon for the shaved chocolate pieces was a mistake. It’s like very mid rocky road without the nuts. Plus, the marshmallow fluff type swirl is just a weird consistency mixed in. I’d skip it and look for a frozen hot chocolate ice cream elsewhere.

My family and I are in love with this Hot Cocoa ice cream with chocolate flakes. Love the marshmallow swirl! We wish it wasn’t seasonal and could be purchased all year round.
