Description
Born in the hills of Manipur, this vessel is the result of hands working clay and stone without wheels or kilns. Village artisans knead rare black serpentine and Longpi clay, then polish the surface with river stones before cradling it in open flames. The final form is satin-black, quietly elegant, and lightly mineral-rich, ready to cradle warm curries or cool salads while discouraging unwanted microbes.
