Q: we bought this and it came with srms hut the holes it shows in the instructions weren't there...we had to drill the holes ourselves... did anyone else have this issue? it made assembly frustrating.

A: We picked up this sofa today and it was also missing the same holes! We opted not to drill our own, fingers crossed we don't regret that... lol

Q: For the weight limit being described as 225 lbs for the futon is this per cushion meaning the total weight limit is 550lbs or is it for the entire futon? I’m 225lbs myself so it can only fit one adult essentially if that’s the case.

Guys, you are using the couch wrong. You have to unzip the back cushions before folding them down. Inside, you will see two legs that pop out. That is what everyone in complaining about when they say “the couch pokes them, digs into their back, etc”. When you discover this simple feature, the couch become significantly more comfortable.

Very durable material. The cushions are relatively comfortable, but the very middle is very hard. There seems to be a wooden plank between them. Great if you own a mattress topper as a bed.

I saw this review. This was exactly my expierience. So I'm just cutting and pasting. At first glance, this looks good for small apartments but the way the back leans back over the couch make is far deeper than most sofas. There is an awful, huge, indentation in the middle (comes that way) that looks like a cannonball was left on the couch for 100 years. The other parts of the cushions somehow push against you, feeling like a troll lives deep within the couch and wants nothing more than to eject any poor soul that dares to sit on it. And as far as a bed? Try amplifying all these problems by 10. If you want a guest to leave as quickly as possible, this is the couch for you. I would never purchase this again.

Perfect size for the room we’re using it in. Easy to put together and directions were easy. As with most futons it’s a little on the hard side when you sit on it so it could’ve been a little softer but the value and quality is great.

This was a fine couch for a medium sized college apartment bedroom. If you need cheap furniture, this is for you. Sure, it's not as comfortable as a fancy $1000 couch, but it's still perfectly comfortable and great for the money! It would be best for a college dorm or apartment. It's firm, so you're not going to sink down into it. It's easy to put together and not super heavy. You can adjust the back to make it flat, reclined, less reclined, or at a 90 degree angle. However, I would not recommend this be used as a bed based on how firm it is, but maybe if you added a mattress pad on top.

It’s a cute concept, but you have to sit on it just right. If you sit where the cushions meet, it’s so stiff and uncomfortable. Almost feels like you’re sitting on a piece of wood and definitely makes it uncomfortable to lay down. If you’re sitting in the middle of one of the cushions, then it’s super comfy. But again, you have to sit JUST RIGHT and really can’t sleep on it without extra padding added on top.

The very first night I slept on this terrible futon my back was destroyed. And it's only gotten worse with cushions separating (when guests use it). Also, the extra legs in the center was obviously added after it had broken on other customers. They weren't an original part.

Love the modern look, that it folds down for extra sleeping, and the materials seem sturdy enough for daily use for a few years. Not likely to be your lifetime sofa, but the price reflects that. Firm seating. I’m short so it’s low profile is fine, if you are tall this may not be for you. Overall for the price this is a winner
