He is the former clinical director of the Center for Men's Recovery in Florida, where he helped create a unique gender-specific treatment experience and a pioneering therapeutic environment. Alan is a MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) trained Motivational Interviewing trainer, an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor, and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
