Q: My 14 year old granddaughter wants this book, and I hear it was a very popular seller with the teenage girl market. Is it suitable for this age group

submitted by YaYa - 7 years ago
  • A: It's a book quoting short videos called Vines. I have the book myself, however, I have heard that it does have Vines in the book. Most will have swearing in the quotes. If your granddaughter if responsible and mature then I would recommend it.

submitted byAnswer - 7 years ago
  • A: The book you are talking about is milk and vine a sort of parody of milk and honey. Milk and honey is a book with poetry. Milk and vine is quotes from the dead app called “vine”

submitted byServing tea - 7 years ago
  • A: As this book is very truthful, the nature of this book is for more teenage kids. i believe if she is mature enough for this book. i would say yes, even if she isnt fully, still yes because it has wise words and nice advice she can use.

The feelings messages she tried to convey were touching.. the execution was not. I don’t mean to be rude but it was really bad and I’m usually into this kinda thing 😭😭 save yo money you can lookup better poetry for free online. Some pages literally have one sentence and it’s trying too hard to be edgy..

Christmas gift for my wife!

4 out of 5 stars
Alec - 1 year ago
I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, they’re been after this book for a while, just never pulled the trigger on it. So, I decided to grab it while Christmas shopping, so I could wrap it under the tree! I’m sure they will love it, but I can’t say for sure at the moment since it’s not Christmas yet! But, as another review stated, the 20% off sticker Target stuck to the front of the book was uncalled for. It was almost impossible to get off without ruining the book cover, somehow I managed but it took longer than it should’ve! There’s no reason to put that sticker on the book, there has to be another option for letting buyers know it’s 20% off. Or, maybe find another sticker type that might be safer on a book that’s easier to remove. Anyways, my wife really enjoys poetry so here’s to hoping this book is a hit!

I love this book, and it came quickly and it nice condition, and actually at a much cheaper price compared to other sites where I'd check this book out. BUT! The target sticker would not budge, which made me super upset because this book is beautiful both inside AND out, and the sticker had ruined the cover. Luckily overtime I found an alcohol prepping pad wipe, and it removed the sticky residue and what was left of the sticker easily!

Ugly sticker on book!

Cynthia - 4 years ago
The review is pertaining to Target, not the book. The book is great.. but Target ruined it with a 20% off sticker. Literally you can’t remove the sticker residue from the book. Why Target why?
