I will use this as an occasional substitute for ground beef. It is nutritious and easy to use. And it tastes good combined with seasonings. Glad I tried it!

I like vegetable broth which is what this seems to be. To make it flavored, yeast extract was added which is unnecessary unless you want to give it flavor and there is none. Then sugar is added and canola oil which neither of these things do I want in my broth, vegetable or beef broth which there is nothing in this to make it taste like beef broth. I am going to stick with Pacific Brand. None finer.

Love how high protein it is. Great to add to pasta dishes or burrito bowls.

I wanted to try and make tacos so i got this… i won’t lie mid cooking i was pretty scared it was sloppy joe material and grossed me out. It genuinely taste like a normal taco i couldn’t believe it. I didn’t have high hopes because i’ve tried this brands meatballs and almost threw up. But this was amazing i had 3 tacos!

Used to LOVE this and eat it mostly every day until you changed the recipe with a much higher fat content. Is there any way to buy the old one in bulk???

Tastes great. Can barely taste the difference from real beef

I'm trying to eat less meat, and this happened to be cheaper than buying a pound of ground beef. It's also healthier. I put it in a chili I made and I am not exaggerating when I say if someone gave this to me, I would not for a second think it was plant based meat. And it's much better than the ground beef I make for chili and sauces. But this is so incredibly delicious and easy that I will be absolutely be buying this over regular ground beef for recipes where it's in a marinara or sauce. Now if it's tacos, I'm not the one to ask yet. I assume it'd be delightful. 10/10

I have used this product to make a "meat" lasagna & no one knew it wasn't beef. It was delicious & animal product free. I loved it.

I wanted to try and healthier version of beef. I have tried it with tacos and with nachos. Highly recommended. It's easy to cook takes little time on the stove or in microwave. It has super simple easy packaging. Just open it and get as little or as much as you want heat it up add or even eat it the way.it is. Super good not needing anything extra.

Great substitute for animal-based meat

I regularly use Gardein Ground Be'f for recipes typically made with animal products because it tastes good and looks and has texture like ground beef, yet with so much less fat. My favorite recipe using it is Healthy Shepherd's Pie. Virtually no one who eats it, esp. when I use beef bouillon, notices any difference from one made with animal products, and they all love my shepherd's pie.

I have been looking for TVP and found this at target. This stuff was so good used as “nacho meat”. I seasoned it up like you would ground Turkey and you couldn’t even tell it was meat free. Protein and fiber!? I look forward to trying it in chili!

The way ground beef should be good and plant based the best option available

I love everything about this product, just wish it wasn’t soy. In fact I love all the products especially the crab cakes but I can no longer eat soy due to health reasons.

I love Gardein products! I haven't tried one that I don't like. We use the beefless ground to vegan-ize any recipe that calls for ground beef and have never been disappointed. We have used it in tacos, bolognese, chili, enchiladas, spagetti & "meat"... you name it. This brand has been our go-to for years!
