My 1st 3 sets are stirofoam and still have them. Glad you have made them with better materials. I recommend anyone starting seeds or cuttings to use this.

I was shocked by how sturdy these are! I have been using a self watering system from a big box store for a couple of years and while it got the job done, it was flimsy and I recently broke a tray just moving it around. When I splurged on the SunLite system, I wanted all of my trays to look clean and cohesive too. When the box arrived with these, it was really heavy. When I opened it, I was literally shocked by how much better these were than the old ones I had been using. The bottom trays don't flex at all. The cell tray has a little bend to it as you would expect, but the plastic is really thick and you can tell these are going to last a really long time. Since setting them up the capillary mats really draw up water! So much so that my soil got kind of soggy. I think I added too much water to my seed mix to start because my old system wasn't as productive and it will take a little adjustment to adapt to this system. With my old system I use to find there were cells that would get a little less water than the majority of the cells and I was supplementing from the top. I don't think I will have to do that ever again! I am excited that they are going to be super easy to move around when it comes time to harden my starts off. No more holding thy breath, hoping the tray doesn't buckle under the weight of my plants when I rushed them to the patio. I am really looking forward to using these and have no doubt they will stand the test of time!

The Grow-Ease Seed Starter kits work so well. We have purchased 12 of the 24 cell kits, and they have lasted for 3 years- including the water mats. We have been expanding our raised bed garden, so I am now purchasing 12 more of these kits. We now also own 2 of the large LED SunLite 3-Tier Gardens, and they easily hold 12 of the Seed Starter kits. We have these set up in our garage, and purchased heat mats to provide a warm environment for seed germination. Watching the seedlings grow with these excellent products, just makes me happy!

A few years I purchased 2 after watch Laura since every winter I add more! I love growing from seed!! So satisfying walking out and knowing you started the flowers and veggies! I fried a different brand last year from a box store due to wanting to plant that day-well that night I ordered from you! I am a dedicated costumer for life!!

I wanted to love these so much, but the jury is still out. My issue is that soil stayed sopping wet day after day. I thought it was because I left the domes on too long, so I restarted with no domes. Again. the soil was just as soaked with the dome off as it was with the domes on. My seedling mix is 50% coco coir and 50% peat with a touch of Perlite. Since I now consider these an experiment, I will try to change up the soil mixture and see if that helps the situation. I may also take them off the mat for a few days, but that kind of defeats the self-watering aspect. I may also my try placing peat pellets on the mat instead of using the planting cell trays.

My husband and I bought these to start our peppers and tomatoes this year. This product worked way better than ones I have used in the past and we plan on purchasing again in the future.

I have used many different seed starter trays and this is the best yet for keeping my seedlings moist.

Bought these for a solution to keep seedlings watered while I'm out of town or unable to water them. Works decently. They still dry out fairly quickly, but it is a short-term solution.

I love that this is recycled and reusable. It comes with everything you need at a good price. Worked great compared to my other seed germinating home methods. #sweepstakes

The self watering is huge for me since I am not a morning person. Healthiest seedlings yet.

I have been using this system for many years and it really works well. I love that the seed germination rate is so high, and it is very easy to maintain the seedlings with the capillary pad water system. Starting my own plants couldn't be any easier.

These have helped me get healthier seedlings and roots before they go out in the gardener. I've already purchased more as these have been a game changer. It takes the time out of watering while still allowing my seedlings to slightly dry out in between each watering. Go ahead and buy them!

I thought it was very sturdy. I can see that I'm going to be able to use it for years and years it would be nice though if it came with labels, I would be willing to pay a few dollars more to get labels for the plants.

I had great luck starting seeds using these and bottom watering over the basic cheapy trays. Almost 100% germination on 8 trays, and I never let them dry out once. Love that they're rigid and long lasting, too!

Very glad I made this investment. My tomato, bell pepper and broccoli starts I now won't have to transplant to bigger pots. I am also busy, so the self watering feature is HUGE with young plants!

Just think the mat could be a tiny bit longer. Otherwise it is great!
