The green mesh cover is great, goes on easy and filters sunlight and still lets water through. Not a fan of the white plastic covering….zippers only let you access one side of the raised bed, when watering the water doesn't reach the entire bed. Would ne nice to have openings on both sides to help with mentioned issues. Zippers are rather flimsy as one has already broken off and it hasn't even been in a month.

The design and adaptability of this frame and its covers are excellent. Love how well they work together. However, thank goodness I have sewing skills. After the 3rd season, the tie down straps detached. No worries, just sewed on new (longer) ties. Two zippers in the green cover died and I haven't found replacements. It would be nice to just purchase a new cover without buying the whole kit.

I bought this to use with my 4 X 8 raised bed. Love the raise bed but was disappointed in the quality of this product. Do you sell replacement screens as the one I bought only lasted a couple seasons?
Poor construction of green netting

The green netting is not carefully constructed. Some of the ties and part of one zipper were not even sewn securely. Disappointing that there is no replacement option for the netting. After one season the netting is ripped.

I have purchased many things from Gardeners. This doesn't meet quality standards. I read reviews and figured if I got 1 season out of it and the frame was sturdy, it would be worth it. Didn't make it 1 week and zipper broke. Too expensive for 1 week. I'm quite annoyed

flimsy screen, no replacement option

The green insect screen is the most likely component to fail, as mine did. The metal frame and plastic tarp are still good after several years. I would like to buy a replacement screen but the company does not offer that option. They should, considering that other customers also have this experience. I've noticed this is true of other Gardener Supply products as well...they often only sell the bundle, but not the replacement parts. For example, the green metal stakes that come with the net fencing kits are made of flimsy metal with a plastic coating. They inevitably rust and break, but the netting lasts forever. I'd like to buy just the green stakes, but I don't see that option...I'd have to buy the netting too. The company is missing a great opportunity to satisfy customers and make more sales with replacement components. Maybe they sell replacement parts on special request but it would be more straightforward and honest to list them in the catalog. (I actually have the smaller version of this)

I love Gardener's Supply and have bought many products here. The green tent, though fragile, made it through one summer OK. The white tent is a complete disaster, doesn't even fit the frame. Avoid.

I am disappointed in the quality of the colder weather cover

Cold weather cover needs sturdier Sippers and seam/tiedown Stitching. Replacement covers need to be sold separately so you can fix a product failure. The frame itself and the warm weather cover seem quite durable. When I called about issues with cold weather cover I was told they are not for sale separately and I would have to buy 2 new entire systems
I would not purchase from Gardner's Supply again.

We have been able to use this insect/shade cover for the last 3 seasons, but as others have stated it breaks down very quickly. This year we had to throw it away as the zippers all broken and net itself failed and ripped. I reached out to Gardner's Supply asking to purchase a replacement and after waiting months for an email reply because their system sent it to the wrong inbox, Jeffrey told me they cannot offer replacement covers. However, as you can see, they still offer the full set on the site. Now I have to try to find who their vendor is and buy directly from the source instead of asking Gardner's to support their products.

It worked great the first year and kept the insects, deer and neighborhood cats out of my garden. Unfortunately the netting didn't make it through the second year. The netting started tearing by the zippers. I was hoping to order a replacement cover and was surprised to discover they weren't available. Having openings on both sides would be a great improvement.
Great idea, but has problems…

As everyone else has said, the screen cover falls apart in one season. but the plastic white cover has a ridiculous design for tying it onto the frame, which is almost worthless. I live in Maine and even in the summer it would blow off unless I tied it down in multiple places with extra stuff. The design for opening the zippers to water or work are also poorly designed as far as keeping the flaps from blowing down unless you want to tie them with those little tiny things each time which are not very sturdy. if you only secure it with the little white ties to the frame be prepared for it to blow into your neighbors yard. I do like the idea. For the price, figure you will get one season out of the screen, and several out of the metal and plastic if you tie things down in lots of places with your own system.
Green mesh just doesn't last

The frame is great, but what's a frame without a cover? The mesh only lasted most of a season. It began tearing by the end of last summer, but since it's what I had, I used it again this year. By June the insects had no problem getting in (then they were trapped, opposite of my goals) and by August it was more holes than not. As a cold frame it's still fine. Anyway, please please add a way to buy replacement covers!

The concept is good, but the netting/covers are very cheaply made. They will not last more than a few months even in temperate climates. I wish there were replacements to purchase, but sadly there aren't.

After 1 season in TX the green netting has rotted. Zipper stopped working within a few months. With no ability to purchase replacement netting this was a complete waste of money and materials. Now I have this nice frame but it's useless.

I loved this product! I bought three a couple of years ago, and except for one tie that came away from the white cover, It has held up extremely well...so much so that I'm here to buy a 4th for my last raised bed!
