Best company and products around
I cannot say anything bad about garmin I use multiple of there products from dog collars and tracking systems to the garmin fenix watch I’ll never buy another brand I accidentally damaged the screen of my watch and reached out to the garmin team not trying to get a brand new watch for free just simply trying to see if I could get it fixed or if it would be better to buy a brand new one the garmin team went above and beyond I wish I could rep for them if you are looking for a reason to buy this is it

Great Watch, great support, shaky charging port
I love this watch and the Connect app with which it interfaces. The watch software gets fairly regular updates and its features are relevant to the training i do and ghe workouts i enjoy. This would have been a 5 star review if ghe charging port was better protected from the sweat and grime of workout wear. 3rd party charging cables are superior to the original cables. My original Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire was replaced under a warranty exchange due to power outlet non-charging issues. Ive never figured out how (or if) this watch is solar charging on a bright sunny day.

Top of the Line 7X for a bargain price
When my Garmin 6X gave up the ghost I started looking for a replacement. I looked at the Garmin 8X but it was very different from the 6X and I didn't want something so complicated. Then I found the Garmin 7X Prp Sapphire Solar for a great price, but still very expensive for me. BUT, even though the color isn't what I would have liked (light grey) I purchased it. I found it to be a very easy transition from the 6X with some new upgraded features that I like. The bottom line is that I really like the watch and the ease of operation. It does have a touch screen, solar charging, and is the top of the 7X line. The price was outstanding for the value. One note: Yes, the solar charging does work, but very slowly. If you were in the field or camping, hiking for days, and using a lot of battery, the solar charging does help with battery life.

I can't live without it.
This is my backup watch as I also have a Fenix 8 Amoled as my primary. I depend on it for the health metrics and recording my activities. It's priceless. I'll never be without a Garmin.

Excellent upgrade!
So far so good... I got this for a birthday gift from my family and it replaces the Fenix 5X that I had previously. The 7X Pro Sapphire Solar is a MAJOR upgrade with features that just blow away the previous model. As before though, the quality and durability are great and look forward to using it for quite a while.

Great Watch in all But 1 Key Aspect
I am upgrading from the Fenix 3 Pro Solar to this model, and overall very glad I did. Lots of new fun features, plus all the robust base of the previous models. Great battery life. I have 2 overall complaints that kept this from becoming a 5-star watch - 1) the band is uncomfortable. I found myself constantly fidgeting and adjusting it. After about a week I ultimately bought a 3rd party replacement that was more flexible and fit better. 2) The MIP display is great for me, but the notifications are white text on a black background with no option to reverse this to black on white, which makes it really difficult to read in many conditions. This frustrates me because I lose out on what is one of the best features of a Garmin watch - the benefit of notifications without the battery drain of a full smartwatch like an Apple watch or Pixel watch. If Garmin enables an option to flip the contrast for notifications, this would by itself bump up to 5 stars.

Fenix 5 to a Fenix 7 was awesome
Excellent watch and coming from a Fenix 5, the upgrade was seamless from one phone to the other. I liked my Fenix 5, but the battery was having issues holding a charge. I love the newer features the Fenix 7 provides. No regrets!!!

Lots of capabilities!
I’ve had the watch for about a month now and I love it. I’ve used it to tracks runs and swims. Played with the map and navigation features, and so far it has more capabilities than I even know to use. The flashlight is a really nice feature because it’s faster than grabbing my phone when I need a flashlight real quick. This is my 3rd Garmin product and they continue to impress. The Fenix tracks my sleep and other health metrics really well. It’s given me some good insights to my training readiness and things like that. Battery life is incredible. Looks like I’ll be charging it once every 3-4 weeks depending on how often I track workouts. Overall I’m very impressed and satisfied with the Fenix.

fēnix® 7X Pro – Sapphire Solar Edition
I bought this watch several months ago. Solid watch and works wonderful. The battery life is amazing over 14 days without even trying to conserve power. The apps work great. Well worth the money for anyone trying to workout and monitor fitness.

Incredible Upgrade w/ Insane Battery Life!
I love this watch! Coming from a Garmin Venu 2, it was definitely a big jump, and at first it felt huge, which I struggled with a bit, but it’s quickly started to feel more natural on my wrist. The only downside for me is the stock band material (just personal preference, I’ve never loved that style), but I’ve swapped in other bands and it makes a big difference in comfort and fit. What really stands out is the amount of data and insights: training readiness, recovery, sleep, HRV; it’s incredibly detailed and actually useful. And the battery life is INSANE. I never have to think about charging it, especially with the solar feature. Overall, it’s an amazing upgrade if you want deeper fitness tracking and a more rugged, full-featured watch!

Wrong heart rate measurements
In principle I'm rather satisfied but only in principle. The heartrate measurement is definitely not satisfying. Wearing the watch at the right wrist it is generating really extremely wrong data especially at cold climate. All my older Garmin's (6S pro, 5S, 3, etc. and as well my wife's vivosmart and my old Suunto) didn't have any problems.

Waste of Money
Bought it two weeks ago, face is already broken. Extremely fragile. And also the most unfriendly user platforms ever. To need three different apps to control a watch is absolutely ludicrous. I would absolutely never buy one again or any other garmin watch. There are far better smart watch options with mapping and gps capabilities that are equal or exceed garmin. This is junk.

Solar charging doesn’t work. I’ve been out hours on a sunny day and the watch only charges when plugged into AC power.
