Excellent battery life!
I have a friend at Garmin, so I tried out a Fenix 8 Amoled, a Fenix 8 Pro Solar and the Enduro 3 before finally settling on the Enduro. I had a lot of hands-on time with each and although I love the look of the Fenix, especially the Amoled, the battery life of the Enduro 3 is what clinched the deal for me. I use my watch extensively in the outdoors and I couldn't be happier!

Massive, but incredible watch
This watch does everything - I bought it for the long battery life and solar charging because it is one of the few watches that has Adventure Race mode (required for racing). It outperformed my expectations and provides me with endless stats. The only problem is that it is absolutely massive on my wrist. I'm petite, and it looks like a dive watch on me. It rubbed the skin on my wrist raw the first few days of a multi-day race, and I still can't wear it when I'm mountain biking unless I have long gloves on to protect my hand. Even when I slide it up on my forearm, it's still too big and bulky, and hurts my hand. That being said, this watch has every feature I need and more I never knew I wanted. I can track sleep, recovery, altitude acclimation (awesome when I was mountaineering in Nepal), training recommendations, navigation, and especially Adventure Race mode so I can track our course and learn from mistakes we made. The long battery life was necessary because I often cannot recharge it for 3+ days, and this watch lasts, even recording activities for days. It's the best battery life I've ever seen, and I can go weeks without charging if I only use it for daily workouts and have it on all day and night for SpO2 and heart rate and respirations. I would only recommend this to expert athletes who do multi-day endurance sports. Otherwise, buy a smaller watch and charge it more frequently.

Light weight and super comfortable
Got this a couple of weeks ago to replace my still functioning 935, it’s light and disappears on my wrist. The built in light is invaluable and I use it in strobe mode for my morning runs. It’s easy to set up the way I want it and ignore all the features I care nothing about, it doesn’t seem like a big watch at all, I wear it 24/7. It’s perfect for me even though I’m not anything but a casual runner doing 9-12 miles a week.

Best Watch Ever!
I upgraded from a Garmin Fenix 6 to the Enduro 3 because I was heading out on a 12-day backpacking trek at Philmont, and I knew the Fenix wouldn’t hold enough charge. The Enduro 3 turned out to be the perfect choice—not just for the battery life, but for how it supported me day-to-day on the trail. Even with daily GPS tracking at Philmont, I never had to stop and recharge. Solar + optimized power modes easily carried me through the full 12 days. This alone was a huge upgrade from my Fenix 6. I love how the watch gives a quick, clear morning snapshot—sleep, readiness, weather, sunrise—so I know what kind of day I’m walking into. At night, the evening summary helps me wind down, review my stats, and check tomorrow’s conditions. These touchpoints became part of my daily routine.

Garmin's Hidden Gem
I just upgraded from the fenix 6X Pro and couldn't be happier. Even today, the fenix 6X is no slouch and remains a capable, relevant watch. The Enduro is definitely an upgrade and for me hits the sweet spot for features and cost. All the benefits of the fenix 8 solar but with amazing battery life and a lighter, more comfortable feel. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.

Function over form FTW
I've had all three versions of the Enduro and loved them all. The lowered weight is more noticeable than you'd think, as is the screen improvement. I'm definitely a user that prefers function over form for watches which is why the battery life has kept this model as my daily watch. I've also used it in multiple multi-day expedition races (5-8 days) and typically only have to charge it once. I only take it off to charge and have no issues wearing it 24/7 otherwise. I don't use the smart notifications other than phone calls so can't speak to that function. I do use the music through YT music and the ability to have something to listen when you leave the phone at home is really nice. For people that use their watch the same or similar to how I do, can't recommend it enough! Oh, and the built in flashlight is SO much more handy than you would think at first if you've never had one on a watch.

A sober assessment of battery life
While it's true that the battery lasts basically forever if you're not using the GPS, what I found during a long thru hike this summer was that the battery will last 4-5 days if I'm using the GPS in SatIQ mode for 10-14 hours per day in full sun. It's very big, but it's light which helps. I would switch between my left and my right wrists once or twice per day.

Lightweight and LONG battery life
I received my Enduro 3 20 days ago. As I look at the face it still shows ten (10) days of battery life remaining since the initial charge (full charge out of the box). I wear the watch 24-hours per day and do around 90 minutes of activity per day (mix of running, cycling, indoor training). So, I'm feeling pretty confident it will live up to its battery life claims. I'm not a big guy and I was surprised how the larger (51mm) watch face does NOT interfere with my wrist at all. With the watch's light weight, it is just not noticeable when being worn (a positive). The HR, GPS, and other metrics are comparing well to my other devices and I remain confident this device will carry me through some epic adventures in 2026 (100k run, 12 hour cycling events, and some multi-day activities in the mountains).

Excellent watch
Switched to this enduro 3 from a series 10 apple watch and I will never go back. It took me a little while to get used to the menus/connect app that go along with it, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Battery life is excellent (35+ days) compared to my apple watch which could barely make it through a day. It has way more features than I will ever need, but I wanted the solar charging and long battery life. For someone that is looking for more of an exercise watch, this is an excellent choice. If you're just looking for smart watch features (calls/music/notifications), there may be better options for less money.

Great watch. I use it for trail runs and marathon training in Colorado. The GPS is very accurate and locks on quickly. The map is helpful for finding marked paths and retracing my steps. The battery lasts a long time, which is one of its best features. I can go for several weeks without worrying about charging. It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t feel heavy despite the size. If you have small wrists it can be pretty large and possibly awkward to wear.

Great EDC watch
The Enduro 3 It replaced an instinct solar (still running flawlessly). It’s very large, but that brings more surface area and screen customization. I do not enable 24/7 HR, O2, notifications, etc. I turn them on as needed. This gets me about 60+ days of battery in between charges. The GPS is fast to sync. The ABC features are accurate. The flashlight is indispensable.

Best Garmin Yet
I have had my Enduro 3 for about a month and I love everything about it. Easy to customize data, data seems very accurate, easy to use for day to day training. I have raced once with it and I was very happy with the operation.

Just Enough
I have been watching these for a while after having the Fenix 6 for some time. Big rocks for me were battery life and biometrics. I found the Enduro was exactly what I was looking for. The battery life is easily 7x the watch it replaced (around 21 days), and the biometric tracking was a slight improvement. Overall, VERY happy with the purchase, and hope to have this one for a while. I did replace the nylon strap for a more traditional rubber one, but that was really just personal preference.

Enduro 3
This watch is insane. Such accurate hr data. So many cool health and performance metrics. Battery life is amazing. Used the map feature for 100 mile foot race that took 25 hours and still had 23% battery life. I’m still tinkering with it to figure out more features, but couldn’t recommend enough!

Bottomless Battery Makes Watch Ultimately Useful
The battery lasts 28 days without any solar exposure. I’d be happy if I got 14 HOURS of battery on my Apple Watch. And they do almost exactly the same thing. So happy to make the move. I wish it was part of the Apple-verse, but it is just as useful.

Great watch for everyday use and long distance running
I have had the ENDURO 3 for a week and I have been really liking it. Here is some of my thoughts: - The battery life is accurate to what Garmin advertises them to be. - Solar charging has an improvement over the previous generation, but you really have to be in direct sunlight for a few hours to actually get some charge. - The GPS is accurate, heart rate monitor is accurate, no complaints with data accuracy at all. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more configurations of watch face - there are very limited options for watch face.
