    Nice features, not including battery life

    I bought this Vivoactive 5 to replace my Vivoactive 3. I was looking for more battery life. I am disappointed with the battery life. If I turn off all the nice features, battery life is outstanding. With features on, battery life is on par with my Vivoactive 3, which is many years older than the new model. The display is much nicer and there are additional features.

    If there is a way to remove the word describing the quality of the sleep I had the night before- I would love to know it. I know I had a bad night, I do t need to be told. And I’d love to remove the “Sleep Coach” section. I like the watch. It has a lot of great features- still getting used to the graphics. There was a cute free watch face that I could load onto the watch. But when I try to find information on adjusting anything on the watch- nothing I’ve read has been clear enough- I’m guessing by the end of my attempts. Maybe I’m just too old to understand the descriptions.

    Thin line between love and hate

    I bought this watch two years ago and noticed a gradual decline in function. The keeper stopped keeping and the band would loosen. The watch fell off randomly and started to fall off at night resulting in inaccurate sleep metrics. Garmin replaced the keeper 4 times. The battery life declined over time and the connectivity became inconsistent. The watch gets 3 stars because when it was fully operational, I loved it. The sleep metrics, workout information and ability to customize workouts and watch faces is excellent! I also enjoyed the peace of mind with the fall detection that will notify my emergency contacts in the case of a sudden impact.

    Good but reads heart rate low

    I like it but it reads my heart rate low. There is much more useful data than with my 6 year old Vivoactive 3 which is still working well. My problem with it is the low heart rate function. On my Vivo3 I regularly get up to my max, sometimes a few beats beyond it with no problem as I am very fit for my age. Even using my Garmin HRM-Dual cardio chest belt with it, the Vivo 5 still reads 20-30 bpm low. That's not acceptable.

    Awesome Smartwatch

    I've had this watch for eight months now and still absolutely love it. Battery life is every bit of 12-14 days, and I use it hard (12 workouts a week). Reading text messages with responses is very effective. I find the heart rate monitor and steps tracking is far more accurate than the Fitbit. Creating a custom watch face is simple and fun.

    So far, great watch.

    Well I've only had this watch for about 10 hours but so far I'm impressed. The battery is still at 100% with very few changes from the way the watch came. Step counters working good, I'll see how it does with sleep tonight. Time will truly tell though.

    Dissapointing watch

    This watch gets the job done and that’s about it. It was cheap when I bought it and that’s the only reason why within 2 months of owning it I went back to COROS. This watch would constantly save my activity whenever I would pause it. The battery does not last long, maybe a week at most. I just think having a touchscreen as main control is not a good idea. Garmin clearly didn’t put enough effort into this watch.

    If I could give it zero stars I would, first watch i got was fine for the first t months battery lasted almost a week. A few months later it would only last a day, not even 24 hours. Contacted Cs they sent me a replacement and its doing the same thing 🤦🏽‍♀️
