    ok but quirky

This watch is not that easy to configure to personal preferences. I really dislike the ugly clock face for example but it appears to be something I can't change. There is also no way to have constant display without pressing a button.

Could be great but so so now.

I bought this to replace my Venu Sq 2 that would not charge. Of course as soon as I received the Vivoactive 5 the other one suddenly charged. However I have downloaded the golf app and courses and it has never worked. Once it stated it needed to connect to WiFi on the first tee. My friends were interested until they saw the problem with the Golf portion of the device.

Fantastic non bulky men's sized watch.

So far I love this little watch! It holds a charge, has a ton of features, isn't big and bulky and I was able to find cover that will keep me from destroying it.

    Seems designed for avid runners?

I bought it to replace my aging Fitbit only to find that it didn’t have the functionality I was seeking. I’m 68 and active. I wanted a device that would track my 4 mile walks, it doesn’t. My Fitbit did including; average-max-min heart rate, miles traveled in hundredths, total & per mile time, steps and calories burned, and more.

    Upgrade to Vivioactive 5

Upgraded from a Vivioactive 4S. I LOVE this new watch. It has so many more features than my old one, and it's in color! I keep with Garmin for the live tracking GPS. My husband can see where I am while I walk our dog. My only regret, I wish I would have bought it sooner.

    Ok

It was a gift in March and not terrifically pleased. Needs to be recharged about every 2 to 3 days. I previously had a Vivoactive 4, which lasted o ly2 yearsvand would not charge at all. Viviactive 5 does not and an altimeter, which was a feature I really liked on my 4 especially when hiking. The 5 was a gift, so not much recourse to return, once I discovered the lack of feature I liked. I'll only give it 3 stars.

This watch has all the things if you’re very active and more focused on your health and lifestyle!! It even comes with challenges, workouts, and what not. I’ve had an Apple Watch and with all the things you can do on one of those I myself would prefer this watch!!

I am very happy with my Vivoactive 5. It’s a huge upgrade to my old Forerunner 35 and has many more features without being too technical for me to use. I like simplicity and this fits the bill. Still learning all the features but I can get done everything I like.
