I loved the versa 2 but this one has been giving me SUCH a hard time. When i look at my watch i was able to see the clock but now i have to press the button which is so inconvenient when i want to be hands-free! It also isnt showing my notifications no matter how many times i double checked my settings to make sure it was correct. Im not sure why they would mess something up that isnt broken. My versa 2 stopped working out of nowhere and would not charge or else i would have kept it. Might return

Hey there, Hana. Sorry to hear your experience with the Versa 4 hasn’t been the best. You can adjust the screen so it will turn on each time you turn your wrist — here’s how: 1. Swipe down from the clock face. 2. Tap the screen wake icon. 3. Set Screen Wake to Auto (Motion) You also have the option of an always-on display as well. Regarding problems with notifications not appearing, here's some solutions: 1. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. 2. Try to manually sync your Fitbit device. 3. Check your phone permissions. The versa 2 worked better than the 4. I’ve always loved using my watch as an alarm to wake me up in the morning. I never had a problem with the versa 2, however with the versa 4, I’m lucky if the alarm works half the time.
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 8 months ago
Hi, Erin. We're sorry to hear that your Versa 4 alarm only works half a time. To help troubleshoot, try restarting your watch by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button. Once done, swipe up and down to set the alarm time. Tap am or pm. When you’re done, tap the time to set it. If you want to choose additional days when the alarm should alert you, tap the alarm to edit it further. Monitor your Versa 4's behavior afterward. My Versa2 finally died on me after 3 years. Thought it would be a simple replacement but this is not customizable at all. Cannot get the find my phone app to show on the watch, nor the mindfulness. There are no customizable tiles, only the forced Fitbit apps. This watch has turned into something I can tell time with and track my steps, no additional features or game like previous versions. A complete waste of money for what I previously used my Fitbit for.

Absolute garbage. Killed my versa 2 decided to “upgrade” and I’m so disappointed. It will not track my heart rate consistently. I worked out intensely for an hour and it counted 2 zone minutes. My versa 2 had zero issue keeping the hr. I read other reviews about the watch and decided to take a chance. Don’t do it! The ONLY improvement they made for the 4 was the band quick release but the small plastic part that “releases” the band makes me nervous that it will break easily.
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 8 months ago
Hi, Steph. We're sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa 4 is not tracking your heart rate properly. Heart-rate tracking can be affected by several factors including air temperature and device location on your wrist. We also recommend checking out the heart rate troubleshooting tips by searching for "What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?" on the same website. I used to have a Fitbit versa 2 and I loved it! So, when I got the versa 4 I figured I would love it even more because it would be updated and have more gadgets. Wrong. I hate this Fitbit. First of all, it doesn’t allow third party apps since google took it over which is something I loved about my old Fitbit. Also, since google took it over I have had so many issues. I have only had it for one month and it constantly stops tracking my sleep. It also freezes randomly. I do not like how the Fitbit app looks anymore especially the sleep section. If I were to do it over I would just not get Fitbit in general. I am so disappointed.

Hi, there. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing multiple issues on your Fitbit Versa 4. We're always looking for ways to improve, and we appreciate your feedback. Please make sure to sync your Fitbit device in the Fitbit app: From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner > Tap the device that you want to sync > Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now. Then try restarting your Fitbit device by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then releasing the button. For sleep tracking tips, please visit our Fitbit Help Center: https://support.google.com/fitbit/ and search for "How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?".
