Q: Does this watch track pace to the second or does it round to every 5 seconds? My old Garmin gives me pace to the exact second. Seems like most watches today round to the nearest 5 seconds. Very annoying. What does this watch do?

    Two watches.

    Purchased the Forerunner to help with tracking my activities and health because I was using my swim watch throughout the day. So now I have the swim watch for my swim activities and the forerunner for all other activities. The two watches don't match up with the amount of calories or heart rate information. I'm trying to figure out why.

    Love It!

    This watch is a huge upgrade from my previous Forerunner 55. I love the screen. It is vibrant and bright. The dual band GPS is great as well. And the battery is always excellent with Garmin.

    My Forever Tracker

    I have owned and used just about every major fitness tracker on the market over the years, and I was constantly frustrated by sensor lag, pairing issues, and having to manage multiple apps just to get my training data. I finally made the switch to the Garmin ecosystem and I'm never looking back. This is hands down my forever tracker. I paired it with the Garmin hrm-200 chest strap. The real time lag free heart rate accuracy during high intensity training is unwatched and the handoff between the watch and the strap is completly automatic and flawless. If you want a bulletproof reliable system that just works without the headache of constant troubleshooting this is the absolute gold standard.

    Improved Lifestyle

    Have had this now for about 3-4 weeks, and it’s been the best tool to help me understand how to maximize workouts, recovery, sleep, etc. I’m so much more in tuned with my body; couldn’t be more happy.

    Great Value for the money and great watch

    The watch was a significant upgrade to other watches. It is critical to my health that I monitor my data and that it connected to Zwift. The watch has an excellent display and is easy to navigate for all the different data points. Particularly like the heart and sleeping monitoring methods.

    The onboarding is a pain. There is no clear path for ease of setup. I have to go to other forums and Google to solve the setup. But, there’s plenty of opportunities to pay for extra features. They make sure to let you know

    Awesome smart watch

    I've been using the Garmin Forerunner 265 for about a month now, and I'm really happy with it. It has exceeded my expectations in several ways. I originally bought it because I recently started running, but I also kayak (rowing) and do other sports, so I needed something that could track all my activities—and this watch definitely delivers. One of the things I appreciate most is how customizable it is. There are so many features and settings you can tailor to your needs, which makes it feel very versatile and personal. Overall, I truly feel like you get what you pay for with this watch. It's been a great investment for staying active and tracking my progress.

    Great product, need to put the Golf app on the 265

    It really is a great running watch. However, not sure why they wouldn't load the Golf functionality to this watch. That wasn't clear and that was one of the functions I used regularlly.

    Fantastic Features, Still Unlocking Its Potential

    A bit of a learning curve for me initially but now that I've been using it for a couple of weeks, no issues. Tracks everything great, sleep, steps, HR, distance, etc, I'm still exploring everything it has to offer and still working on figuring out how to play my spotify playlist from it.

    Not good tracking activity

    I replaced my 6 year old 725xt with a Forerunner 265. The watch does a horrible job tracking my activities that are not specific with GPS. For example i will have over 6 miles of steps between yard work, dog walks etc and the watch misses all of this. My old watch reliably captured everything.

    Great Watch

    I finally upgraded from a base model Forerunner to this watch. It’s incredible! The screen looks great, the battery life is awesome, and the stats it gives are more than I can even understand. I would highly recommend this watch!!
