This watch is like playing with a caddie from Augusta National. Not only does it give you distance to middle, back and front of green, it gives much more. Distances ("plays like") based on wind, incline of green, etc. Also has a tempo feature that measures your back and forward swings for tempo and compares to your ideal tempo measurement. You can keep score, track shots by club used and calculates key metrics, e.g. % of GIR's.

I purchased this watch (smaller size of same model my boyfriend has) as my golf game has been improving and wanted a more hands on look while on the course and enjoy the ability to keep score right in the watch / app. While I have only been using it around a week or so, I really like the features - both for golf and overall sleep / health tracking. The one (BIG) issue for me is that the weather does not sync to the watch / watch face without my phone being on, nearby, and the Garmin golf app open, which is a battery drain on my phone all day. I have rebooted and tried troubleshooting from stuff I've seen online, but nothing is working. This to me is a BIG problem if you are planning to wear the watch every day.

I bought this so I did not have to use my scope all the time. It is a great tool and I like the sleep stats too. I normally wear my Apple Watch everyday, but I use this watch at night and for golf. It is better than using an Apple Watch for golf and the sleep stats are excellent. The need to keep adding greens to their system and it would be great if they included responding to messages and texts with an iPhone.

I upgraded to the S70 from earlier S62. Still love it, but I have issues with the watch not capturing some of my shots. When I try to add them manually, it takes longer with the S70 because you've added a few steps. Hard to do with a gloved hand, so more steps and not able to select "add club" on the first try.
Nice upgrade from my previous Approach

I've hand the S70 for about 3 weeks. Still trying understand all the features and how to make adjustments on the course. The screen is great - bright and clear. Battery life is fantastic. It is a very smart device and with the exception of answering phone calls and responding to texts could replace my Apple Watch

I was not a watch wearer but this watch changed my mind. Has a long battery life, needs charging about once a week. Great way to track your golf stats. Use that info to improve my game. Additional benefits include steps, heart rate, weather, workouts and coaching. This watch has it all.

Love this watch. As a regular golfer, I love the battery life and all of the additional “off the course” features. This has replaced my Apple Watch as my daily watch. The only downside is that you cannot respond to texts/calls when you have an iPhone. I’m sure that is Apple’s requirements and not on Garmin. If that could be changed, that would be a bonus! On the course functions are great. Took me a round or two to get used to it, but once you understand the functionality, it’s great. I’ve messed around with other watches and apps for golf, but I came back to Garmin! Just wish those clubs sensors were cheaper as other companies include them with promos or at least a lower cost. I’d still recommend though!

I bought this watch for golf. It’s great for that purpose. I did have issues connecting it to my iPhone. Notifications would not display phone calls or text messages. After restarts of the apps and iPhone, I finally got it working.

I was heading up to play golf on a few courses that lacked GPS.....So I decided buy a GPS watch...the size and readability were perfect for the task. Being a first-time user. this watch could user a QR code with a you tube instruction video for navagation.
