Q: which power bank charger is compatible with the lily 2 smartwatch? I need a "trickle charge mode" or low current mode
submitted by jean - 2 months ago
A: Hi, thank you for reaching out about Garmin Lily 2 Smartwatch with Silicone Band Cream Gold.
Most modern, UL-certified portable power banks will safely charge your Garmin Lily 2. However, because the watch draws such a low electrical current, standard power banks often turn off automatically after a few minutes. To prevent this, use a power bank that features a dedicated Low-Current Mode or Trickle-Charge Mode.

Not a good product.
Good software and app. Watch was great for 18 months then died. Not worth the cost from my perspective.

Useful
I've just received a refurbished Lily 2 due to issues with my previously purchased one. Based on the functioning of this refurbished watch, I believe the first one I purchased was a "lemon". Battery life is SO much better as with the first one, a charge rarely lasted more than 2 days and this one is lasting nearly a week.

Loved it at First, won't last
I love the look of this watch and that it is smaller. Works well to see texts and fine for step tracking. However, the lack of a mic on it means you cannot truly answer calls. The texting is limited responses, which is not great but ok. My biggest issue is now that I have had it for 1.5yrs, it is randomly shutting off. The battery isn't dead, however in order to turn it on you have to put it on the charger (which is a custom charger). So while I wanted to love this watch, I can't say I wanted it for only 1 year so hoping I can find something better now.

Worked for a couple months but then it slowly started not syncing my information. I contacted the manufacturer and they were helpful but not happy with the product.

I say yes!
I thought I was in love with Lily, well I’m obsessed with the Lily2! It a lot more easier to operate, the battery life is longer and more workout options! The band is sturdy and feels more comfortable.

Disappointment
Very pretty and feminine, that’s why I bought it. After putting it on my arm and setting it up, it is a hassle to see the time. I have to shake my wrist and then the time shows up every time I wanna see the time. The eye concert very small and the tutorials are not very good. I’m returning mine.

Cute but lacking a lot of features for athletes
I bought this watch to help track my training and recovery, thinking it would provide HRV data but it does not. It shows body battery and stress, but neither of these take into account my activities, and aren't very useful for tracking my recovery status. I think it must be designed for non-athletes who don't want anything too scientific or data forward? I bought the Lily because I'm already a Garmin user for my bike computer and HRM, didn't want to have a monthly subscription, didn't want the bulk of the larger watches and liked the look, but I'm disappointed in the health tracking features.

Nice fit and functionality
I purchased this watch about a month ago and love it. I have an older Garmin Vivoactive 4 as well and it is a great watch, but I wanted something a little smaller and "dressier" for work functions. I have been really happy with the Lily 2- it is comfortable, sleek and provides all of the features that I need and want in a watch.

synching with desktp
I am on my third exchange. The first synched two times, and then stopped syncing. The second synch 1x, and exchagned that. The 3rd watch immediately a forced software update and now will not synch at all still stuck with the 'hello', cannot synch with the Garmin Express on my macbook or my mac desktop, and even when my VMWare Win 11 can see and claims to "synch" it does not actually synch. I bought this to have a non-GPS device to track my heart rate while runnig. I unhappy I am

Almost perfect
I love the smaller profile but do find text and numbers harder to read than the Venu Sq, my previous watch. Otherwise, love the Lily 2

Garmin Lily 2
I bought this about a month ago and I thought it would be hard to pair it. As my husband always did it. The hardest thing was it took time to charge it up, but then once it was charged, it was easy to pair it. I wish there was a paper instruction manual with the watch, but everything was on line and easy to follow. I was so happy that I didn't lose all my past history and kept my steps, etc. ..That was the best part of it.

More intuitive than Vivosmart.
I needed to replace my Garmin Vivosmart and decided to go with the bigger face of the Lily. I'm glad I did. It's much more fashionable and navigating to the different areas is intuitive.

Terrible charger
I really like the watch, love that is goes several days without needing charged. However, the charger is garbage. It is very hard to line up the prongs so that it actually charges.

Almost as good as Lily 1
This is a replacement for my first Lily. I am not quite as thrilled with Lily2. The band is a little lighter in color and the metal is a little less rose-gold colored. The first one was prettier. Also I’m not as thrilled with the display. The only font choices are not quite big enough. That said, it’s a great watch. The battery strength is great. It’s comfortable, even for sleeping.
