First Time Garmin Buyer, Excellent Pruchase
I have had this now for about a month and it is my first Garmin product. I really like it. I switched from a fitbit after the google health update and I could not be happier. It has tons of additional features and makes tracking my weight lifting very easy. Easy to track my calories and will end up paying for the premium service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a serious activity tracker.

Still waiting to be impressed
Still early, the device misses peloton workouts randomly, and my heart rate monitoring is way off. The good parts are the step counter, sleep, and stopwatch/timer capability. Curious if the thing adapts to my fitness level?

Great and worth it
I went with the 50mm Amoled version after having the Instinct 2 for two years. I use it to track all of my workouts and also have the Garmin chest strap that works well with both watches. I highly recommend it

Great Upgrade
I had some time ago purchased an original Instinct when they came out. I mostly used it for monitoring HR, Stress, and paired it to my Garmin 500 Pro plus to track dogs. I also used it for reading notifications. My one problem with the old instinct was it was getting hard for me to read it especially in low light and while driving. I upgraded to the Instinct 3 Amoled 55mm due to its bright color display which makes it much easier to read. I also find navigation of menu and options easier.

Excellent but hard to manage.
Hard to learn. Controls are clunky. Valuable features require purchase of accessories, a fact not clear on initial view. Love the battery life.

Great for tracking activities and improving!
Great device to record your physical activity and to help you get in better shape. The Instinct watch and the free Garmin Connect app work together to give you helpful information. I bought this watch about a month ago and it's taken me some time to learn all it's features, but it was worth it. I am not a trail runner or cyclist, so I wanted someting to help my conditioning for hiking. Not only do I track my hiking, walking, and gym activities, but the watch and Garmin Connect app give helpful hints about my sleep behavior, my conditioning and my recovery. Unlike other apps, no subscription required for Garmin Connect. Thanks Garmin for such a great product.

Great
I’m about a week and half into it but has the first Instinct for years. This is a huge upgrade! The Amoled screen is great, so many features. If it keeps performing like the old one you won’t go wrong.

Very Happy With Garmin Instinct III
I have had a few Garmin watches in my life including Garmin Instinct, Forerunner and now Garmin Instinct III. While I have few complaints about the first two the Instinct III is hard to beat for durability, accuracy and dependability. It tracks all of the body metrics that I need tracked and very user friendly. I am not a runner so for runners this may not be the best option but for all others this is a great watch to have as a life trainer.

Sharp Display
Clear sharp display, easy to read. I used the Garmin Connect app to choose a watch face with hour, minute, and second hands. I also went with the red, green and white display colors, making it even easier to read. The battery life is excellent, about two weeks, and the battery life indicator is accurate. My last watch would indicate nine days of battery life, but only go five. I use mine at work in the medical field. With some watches, when you wash your hands, it’s hard to get the watch clean and dry without removing it from your wrist. Not a problem with this one. I also use it to record my hikes. The hikes are fun to look at on the Connect app. I’m glad I chose this model. After two weeks of ownership I can see no downside.

Great watch, great features, extremely durable!
I bought this watch about a month ago. Prior to this watch I owned an apple watch which in my opinion isn’t a option for a very active athlete. Prior to that apple watch I owned the instinct 2 solar the only problem with that watch was that I couldn’t see the screen very well as I am 57 years old. I can’t tell you of how much I love this instinct 3-50mm AMOLED. Very easy to operate , very advanced to keep track of my daily workouts and extremely accurate in “add a manual workout” It will tell you the calories you’ve burned, etc. The watch is extremely durable as well.

Must Have
Tools some getting used to compared to the original Instinct, but this thing is incredible. Love the detail and options. Like going from dial up internet to fiber. Massive difference in the best way.

Great for the Outdoors
I bought watch a little less than a month ago to replace my Garmin Venu Sq. That one was starting to become unreliable, and the battery wasn't lasting as long as it was before. The Instinct is so much better! The battery really does hold up for 18 days if you set it up to conserve when the display is on. I feel like this watch gives me much better monitoring capability. Navigation is easy with the buttons and the default settings are fine for me. The main watch display has a really nice summary of all the major stats and information that I'm interested: Time, day, month, day, temperature, high and low temperature, sunrise, sunset, steps, elevation, heart rate, and days left on the charge. I also like the morning stats that come up every morning. The torch flashlight is really bright for as small as it is. Overall it's a really great watch.

Over the Moon Happy!
Was over the moon Ecstatic when my fitbit Versa finally crapped out so I could justify a major upgrade. I'm an outdoor enthusiast into hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking and just about anything in outdoor activities. I absolutely love my new Garmin Instinct 3. Initially was not the Garmin I was going to go with but after seeing this side by side with my planned purchase the Instinct 3 was Hands down the better option for me. Bit of a learning curve getting accustomed to all the bells and whistles that this watch packs. The battery life for me as a backpacker was a huge selling point (7days of always on)... Can't beat that for the backcountry. One less thing I have to worry about charging. Love my Garmin Instinct 3 and will now be a lifelong Garmin Watch Wearer!

Best smartwatch on the market!
Fantastic build quality as always. Looks sharp and performs, I think, better than any other smartwatch in the market. I’ve owned three instincts before this and they’ve always been great watches. The AMOLED screen elevates what’s already a fantastic watch.
