    Everything I Need

Love that I can see my heart rate, steps, and flights climbed on the home screen. I also prefer the analog hands to digital, I’m 77 yo so what do you expect. The biggest disappointment and the reson for knocking offa star, if possible would have rated it 3.5, is the luminosity of the analog hands. They are not very bright and difficult to read even in a pitch black room.

    Great monthly charge watch

I’ve been wearing this for a month. It’s great but it doesn’t really charge on solar very well.

Have owned for a year and 5 months and I hate it. Will not pair consequentially is stuck on Europe time zone. Solar is a joke. Got 3 years out of my Apple watch.

    Great features! But?

Features are abundant, but accessing them is a nightmare. Especially if don't use them on a regular basis. Battery life is good.

    Best Watch I've ever Owned

I've owned a few backcountry watches in my time. Prior to this, I owned an Instinct 2, and I liked it pretty well, though I wished that I'd bought the larger watch face. I was thinking about purchasing another when the Crossover was launched, and it answered another wish I didn't know I had ... to have analog hands again. I love the increased solar efficiency and the way the hands move out of the way for the smart features. Also, and this is perhaps a little specific, the buttons make a slight click when pressed, and it the haptics on that make it feel more high-end. I only have one gripe, and that is that the glass is closer to the top of the bevel. I know it's to accommodate the analog hands, but I worry about it scratching over time.

    Great Watch

Love the watch but getting everything set up the way I want it has been problematic. Partially because I don't have the time and second its not as straight forward as I like. Would I buy again......Yes

    Reliable and somewhat programmable

I was looking for a hybrid smartwatch. Previously had several digital smartwatches and a Fossil Hybrid HR but it became somewhat dated with its features. The Crossover Solar is much more sophisticated but similar. The sport modes are plentiful but I use mostly the cycling tracker which works great. The sleep tracker is more critical of "stress" which shows that I only have fair stress levels not corresponding to my daily life. If you are interested in being able to read the display in all conditions be aware that if your near vision is not spot on, you are likely to have some difficulty in reading the alphanumeric characters except in bright light. The back light is so-so. Overall, it is a reliable time piece with good information at you beck and call. Oh, yes, the battery life is very good; I usually get 16 days on a charge. Charging time is about one hour. The watch meets my needs well.

    Great watch!!

I needed a smartwatch that has a good battery life, though, can connect to my phone and show messages and something with a stopwatch and step counter. This watch has met those requirements and passed them with flying colors the physical watch hands are nice to have just because im used to a analog watch, they don't get in the way and I haven't noticed any problems with them coming offset. My 1 and only minor complaint but isn't a problem with the watch its my work schedule, I mostly work nights so the solar doesn't make a big difference to me, but its still nice to have when im not working and out fishing. Overall a great watch that feels nice on the wrist, isn't to big, has a fantastic battery life and fits my criteria of what I was looking for in a smart watch. Also it looks really nice.

    Very pleased!

I got this watch because I was tired of having to take my watch off to charge it every night and because my other Smart watches were always giving me useless information. My Instinct Crossover lasts forever on a single charge and it gives me the information I really want. Do far my only criticism is the hands and watch face don't really glow in the dark even though I'm out in the sun every day. Overall, a solid watch.

    So far so good

Like most functions but the display could be brighter given the black background. Could be I haven't figured out if that's adjustable as the directions are hard to follow at points.

Exactly what I was looking for

have had this Instinct Crossover now for just about a month, and am still finding new things that it does. I received this the day before leaving for a trekking trip to Mexico, absolutely perfect!! Thankful I didnt need it in a survival situation but have no doubt it would perform for me in any situation. Better than my Tissot Touch, Casio and all my other watches

    Disappointed. Hard to read screens

The concept is good. The battery life is good. If you are older though I wouldn't recommend because the screens are too small to read. The buttons took alot of learning, it was complicated for me. The glowing watch dial didn't glow very much at all after a minute. At night I couldn't tell what time it was without struggling. I went back to my vivoactive...
