Q: Hello. Would these work to sleep with? Trying to find something to quiet a snoring partner.

submitted by terrikb - 2 months ago
  • A: The Bose website says (Gen 2 version) has "Option to disable touch controls via the Bose app." If you sleep on your back, as opposed to your side or stomach, you could nap until the battery runs out.

submitted byBobBandAidUser - 9 days ago
  • A: The QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are not sleeping earbuds but they are comfortable to wear for long period of time and have noise cancellation, which help reducing unwanted noises.

  • A: Hi terrikb, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While you can sleep with them on, they do slightly stick out and can have accidental button presses. Q: Hi, Does the case auto charge the earbuds similar to what it is in the Samsung earbuds pro cases or case must be connected to a source of power?

submitted by Mohamed - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Mohamed, thanks for reaching out about the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds use a USB-C cable to connect a power adapter to charge the earbuds in the case. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7 am-11 pm CST.

  • A: Thanks for the question Mohamed! The charging case doesn't need to be connected to a source of power - the case will charge the earbuds automatically when the buds are in there. You only need to plug the case into power if you want to charge the case itself.

Q: How does the noise cancellation compare to the headphones?

submitted by Tim - 4 months ago
  • A: Hi Tim, thanks for reaching out about Bose QuietComfort Ultra Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. While both the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the QuietComfort Headphones are known for excellent noise cancellation, there are some key differences: QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds: Strengths: More effective noise cancellation overall: Generally, the Ultra Earbuds edge out the Headphones in terms of pure noise reduction, especially in the higher frequencies. This means they might be slightly better at blocking out things like voices or sirens. Adaptive noise cancellation: The Ultra Earbuds have a feature called ActiveSense Aware that automatically adjusts the noise cancellation based on your surroundings. This means you can stay aware of your environment while still enjoying some noise reduction. Weaknesses: Less passive isolation: Because of their in-ear design, earbuds generally provide less passive noise isolation than over-ear headphones. This means that some lower-frequency sounds might not be blocked as effectively. QuietComfort Headphones: Strengths: Better passive isolation: The over-ear design of the Headphones creates a good seal around your ears, which helps to passively block out more noise, especially in the lower frequencies. More comfortable for some: Some people find over-ear headphones more comfortable for long periods of wear, especially if they have sensitive ears. Weaknesses: Slightly less effective active noise cancellation: While still excellent, the Headphones' active noise cancellation might not be quite as powerful as the Ultra Earbuds, particularly in the higher frequencies. Less portable: Over-ear headphones are generally bulkier and less portable than earbuds. • A: This question is subjective to each customer. If you're unsure as to which product you'd prefer - headphones or earbuds - it may be worth trying both, and then returning the product you're less satisfied with insofar as this is possible via the seller's returns policy.

I bought the QC Ultra Earbuds last month in blue. When I put them on, they shut out the rest of the office, which is what I want. They stay charged for a long time, and when I do need to charge them, it's quick. The case is sturdy and keeps the earbuds locked inside until ready to use. My only complaint is that it's a bit difficult to get them out of the case.

I’ve had mine about a month and I’m really impressed with the noise cancellation in quiet mode, it’s exceptional! Immersive mode is also pretty impressive. I haven’t experimented with the equaliser so far, as I’m delighted with the default settings for these modes. My only complaint is that audio on phone calls using my iPhone is barely audible. I hope someone from Bose support can offer a solution or maybe a firmware update will address this shortcoming. At the moment I can’t use them for phone calls and that is disappointing and the only thing preventing me from being totally satisfied and a five star rating.

I bought these a few weeks ago to move away from air pods and to improve sound quality. Unfortunately, whilst the music is great, they are not at all functional for phone calls. If you look online, it is a common theme. They are a bit more brittle in different environments also and don’t tolerate steam rooms like the air pods do. Overall I’m not happy and tried to rectify the issue with Bose.

Very good sound quality, but controls for volume, off/on, and modes are very difficult to use. Volume control on the earbuds is virtually impossible to use. I'm keeping the earbuds but only because of sound quality and comfortable fit. Will just have to use my iphone for any changes in volume.

It seems I have one little ear - the smallest size of tip fits neatly in one side, but won;t go in far enough to be secure in the other. Not very comfortable for me - but better than over the ear ones. Sound quality and noise cancelling efficiency make them worth sticking with.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Fit can definitely vary from person to person, and we understand how frustrating that can be, especially when everything else is working well. We're glad to hear you're enjoying the sound quality and noise cancellation. They have 3 different size ear pieces so you can customise to fit your ear size. I run in mine and I've had no issues with them. There are also 3 different settings immersive, aware or noise cancelling, so something for everyone.
