Disappointed with Volume and Call Quality – Not Loud Enough for Travel or Work

I bought them for the noise cancellation and to answer calls while traveling, at the airport, or working from home, but the volume isn’t loud enough, and I can barely hear voice calls. If I can’t use them for calls, they’re essentially useless. The music sounds good, but again, the volume is too low. I compared them with my AirPods Pro, and the AirPods are definitely louder. They also work much better with an iPhone. I also had the older QC headphones, and those were great – much better in terms of volume and call quality. While there’s a slight improvement in music quality with these, it’s not enough to make up for the lack of functionality. I just wish they were louder.

It is odd that the volume would be quite, I'd make sure that the earbuds are correctly seated and positioned in your ear. An incorrect fit can lead to low volume, and call quality. I have had trouble with earbuds for forever. They either don’t fit or are extremely uncomfortable. The stability bands allow them to stay in my ears without hurting because I can choose the correct size for the ear tips. I haven’t tried calling anyone but I plan to use for work as my new work phone doesn’t fit the regular old iPhone earbuds (which were the closest to fitting).

The sound quality is great and balanced. In terms of fit, Bose could do better considering its premium price. These come out on movements and I have tried all of the sizes of ear plugs provided. Not at all recommended for sports purposes. The ease of device connection is great at most times.

Volume does not go loud enough and I can barely hear voice calls. If I can’t use these for voice calls, they are useless. Music sounds good, but again, doesn’t go loud enough. Buy AirPods Pro instead! They are much better with an iPhone. The slight improvement in music quality is not worth the lack of functionality.

I'm sorry to hear that you find your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds to be too quiet. Please ensure the volume on your connected device is turned up, and please test the earbuds with a second device as well, in case there's a problem with the first. In terms of functionality, don't forget to use the Bose app, which gives you access to various features and functions such as Immersive Audio, different Noise Cancelling modes, an Equalizer, and a personalized Shortcut. I love immersive audio, and loce that it works with all source material. Really puts you in the middle of the music. I don't particularly like the sound signature, I wish it were more neutral rather than peaky and bassy.

These are the real deal. Amazing noise canceling capabilities, easy to use, great sound quality, perfect fit. I purchased these for use around the office and while working on our farm. Cancels surrounding conversations while trying to work and tractor noise while working in yard. Great high quality sound listening to music.

It is a good quality product but not that good , confort it is not so good when you wear them and features are to much popcorn, would be nice to have an option that comes with future updates like having possibility to adjust in aware mode volume to make them louder to hear better/more, the quiet mode is impressive, the immersion mode it is fancy but not so impressive” can be improved “. I am sure that this model can be improved easily by updating with some upgrades making theme worth the 200£

The audio is good but even new I got a lot of disconnection in the music and the eq keep on changing and not stable on the one I selected from the app, it just ruined the whole music experience, that at the basic is good. On quick comfort ultra

Been using it for a month and it works great. However the ANC fails to filter out track sound when I was in KL for holiday while travelling from the airport to town on the KLIA express. Also there is occasional connection issue that I need to reset but still I would choose this.

I bought this in November for the noise cancelling feature, generally happy with the noise cancelling but have some complaints. 1) Frequently disconnects from iPhone 2)Microphone quality on calls is terrible, this is not a understatement, for the money the mic quality is very bad and every caller points out the line is bad until I switch back to phone mic

It's great to hear you were impressed by the noise cancelling feature of the buds, but I'm sorry to learn you had issues with disconnections and microphone quality. The buds shouldn't disconnect from the phone providing they are being used within 10m/33ft. They may disconnect if you venture too far from the phone. With microphone quality, you need to ensure the buds are installed in the ear with the mics pointing towards your mouth.
