Love my work day now
I'm a professional chauffeur so call handling while driving has got to be not only safe but quality sound. I bought dots to replace my openrun since I didn't find those all that easy to hear calls with them. . . The dots are everything I hoped for. Excellent battery, perfect calls for both myself and my client and they look professional too. I love them. My wife now wants a pair.

Tried all 3 versions now….
Behind the head version: was good and lasted awhile but always hated how that band stuck out and couldn’t use them with a winter hat or when lying down. OpenFit: Constantly had problems getting them in the case exactly perfect so they would charge. Then eventually had problems maintaining a charge. They would say 100% and then 1 would decide not to work. Cannot have that during a long run. OpenDots One: The fit is more solid but the touch sensors are more sensitive to wearing a hoodie or having something covering your ears. Also, as someone who’s hard of hearing (moderate hearing loss) I do find them more challenging to hear in. I do like the option to magnet charge. I use headphones every single day to walk, run and work in. They get a lot of daily long term use.

Some callers complaint how I'm sound. But it may be with cellular data use like WhatsApp and such. Most time it's ok. My personal complaint- when got disconnected from the phone- the connect/disconnect indicating sound is VERY LOUD. Otherwise it's good quality sound for music.

I’ll always buy Shokz
I love everything about these ear buds except touch control. I prefer physical buttons which I only have for volume.

These are so small and I love that I can easily wear a beanie over my ears with them.

Amazing but
I absolutely love these headphones! But I have the same issue with these that I had with the last pair of shocks I bought. They randomly connect to my cell phone, even when in the charging case. I had them in my backpack overnight near my phone, so they were connected the whole light unbeknownst to me. When I arrived to the gym the next morning, they were completely dead, as were my previous pair. This is quite possibly the most frustrating part of owning this brand of headphone. If they could fix this one hiccup they would be the perfect pair of headphones. Other than this, they fit great, they sound and they are incredibly convenient. Love them.

I love my shokz
I’ve been using the Shokz OpenDots for a while now and I’m really impressed! The open-ear design is super comfortable—you can still hear what’s going on around you while enjoying your music or calls. The sound quality is surprisingly clear and balanced for open-ear earbuds, and they stay securely in place even when I’m moving around or working out. I also love that they’re lightweight and breathable, so I can wear them for long periods without any discomfort. The battery life is great too—it easily lasts through a full day of use. Plus, the charging case is compact and easy to carry. If you want earbuds that keep you aware of your surroundings but still deliver great sound, the Shokz OpenDots are definitely worth it.

Very pleased
Very pleased. Easy to clip on and figure out the tap or squeeze controls. Also easy to connect to two devices which is great. Disappointed in the sound when on a phone call but that is asking a lot of such tiny units. I primarily use these around the house for music. One ear does get uncomfortable after an hour or so but it's the ear not the Dot. I have the same problem with my bose sport buds, sigh, was just hoping these would be different.

Open Dots, the Great and a hinderance
I've had these for a couple of weeks now and use them several times throughout the week (mainly while riding my mountain bike). The sound is superior compared to the open run type (which I still use sometimes). Here's what I don't like. . . skipping tracks or advancing through commercials on my podcasts is not great (there isn't a physical button to push rather a touch point / area) and you have to get the cadence just right; two taps will pause / resume and three taps will advance / skip. In the colder months (like now) I wear gloves and the volume control does not work with gloves at all. Here's what I do love. . . the sound once again is amazing, they're very lightweight and comfortable on the ear and they don't interfere with eye-ware or my helmet.

Amazing comfort and sound!
Tried other cuffs, but they hurt my ears and had a “flat” sound. I can’t even tell these are on my ears. And the Dolby sound…over the top good! Again, nice job, Shokz!

Comfortable and stay in place. Great if you wear glasses/sunglasses because these don’t rest on top of your ears.

I wanted to love them
I love the concept of these but they just don’t stay in place and are constantly slipping and needing adjusting. Then, I end up inadvertently hitting one of the controls and shutting them off. I really want to live them but I do t think they’re going to work for me

Better than the rest
I use them mostly for spoken word podcasts, not for music. These things sit lightly on the outside of your ear, and deliver great sound. And there’s the added benefit that you can still hear normal sounds from the real world around you. What’s not to love?
