While they have an IP67 rating, which means they can withstand sweat, rain, and splashes, they are not waterproof enough for submersion in water. Shokz does however offer a different model, specifically designed for swimming, called the Shokz OpenSwim. Those headphones have an IP68 rating, making them fully waterproof and submersible. They also have built-in storage for music, as Bluetooth does not transmit well underwater.     These headphones sound amazing

    This is my second time purchasing Shokz headphones. And they are still the best headphones in my opinion. The sound of the Shokz Open Run Pro 2 is very impressive and has a lot more depth to the quality of the sound. I will definitely be purchasing another pair in the future.

    Best model yet, assuming the power button holds up. Superb audio, while ensuring situational awareness.

    I like these enough that I have {2} pairs. The only improvement I'd like to see is magnetic connecting charge cords. I have difficulty opening the port for charging, and I imagine the set could fry, if moisture gets into the port, if not fully closed.

    I love Shokz 100%. I have the openrun, but had them for 2 years and went out, then bought another openrun regular headphones and lost them. So I bought the openfit, but were heavy for my ears and then these that are openrun pro 2, but they are still heavy for my ear (my ears maybe small). I will be returning these and will purchase the openrun again (I can not go without my shokz).

    Great for grass cutting

    Normal eat buds do not work for me. I can't hear them any more when I ride my zero turn mower. With these, I put them into the bone conduction mode and put in ear plugs to block out the mower sound and I can listen to audio books and pod casts with ease. Even with the volume only half way up. They are amazing for this application. You must use the app to change your listening mode though.

    Runners will Love these!!!

    I am a runner and run sever times a week. I can get pretty sweaty and these stay in place and do not hurt my ears. I can hear my music but also what is going on around me to help keep me safe.

    Honest review

    I wear them to cycle and I wear them during work. They are comfortable and I forget I have them on. The sound is great so far. The only thing I miss is being able to hear passed the music to the people around me. I've noticed that I can't do that with these. I've accepted that I can't truly go hands free because these headphones aren't set up to do that and I think that's also why I can't hear people talking to me when the music is on.

    Won’t hold a 12 hr charge

    I got these as they were recommended by sheepdog to use with their Bluetooth. And they will not last beyond 6hrs. Very disappointed

    Love these!

    As an audiologist for 40 years, I have long known of the enhanced ability we have to hear via bone conduction. I’d been waiting for a product that had good sound quality, and after a test run with a friend’s set of Shokz, I was motivated to purchase my own. I love them. I can hear the environment, unlike with standard ear pods, so I am situationally aware when out and about. They are comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is fantastic. I’m very happy with my purchase!

    Honestly better than I could have imagined

    The shokz have exceeded my expectations. I’m a wrestler and Jiu Jitsu practitioner so I have cauliflower ear. These are the only headphones or buds that don’t irritate my ears or cause pain. The sound quality is that of something I’d honestly pay double for. Battery is amazing it goes all day. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing it. Workouts are great with it too doesn’t move it all. All in all amazing product a lot of time and care went into making this

    They are terrible. Bigger more cumbersome, more magnetic lower volume. A very bad job for Shokz after I've been getting them for so many years. I'm so disappointed.

    love for exercise

    I do love my Shokz for running or walking. I can hear my music and still hear traffic or if people talk to me as they go by. The sound quality is good. The fit is great - I have never been able to keep ear buds in my ears when I'm moving, even with the adjustable caps, and regular over the ear headphones give me a headache. These stay put, and they don't hurt, even with glasses and a lycra headband in my hair. (The Shokz are not loud enough for things like mowing or listening to my book while doing DIY projects like sanding furniture. ) It's been a bit of a learning curve to find the buttons while I'm moving, but I'm getting the hang of it!

    I buy a lot of unnecessary things but this was money well spent! Love em, never going back to anything else! I don’t even feel I have them on my head sometimes. I wear them all day and next day all day and battery still going hard !
