CRAP PACKAGING - AGAIN!
What is with the absolute inferior packaging? Bought two packs of light bulbs. Shipped in a very large box with small amount of Kraft paper. I guess someone thought that would be adequate protection for a UPS shipment? The bulbs weren’t broken, thank goodness but I don’t know if they work yet. TARGET! DO BETTER!!

Poor shipping quality
I am sure that the lightbulb would work if it was shipped properly. Who ships a glass lightbulb without any type of bubble wrap or tissue paper? Whoever package this item threw it in a box with a bottle of honey mustard, and sent it on its way. I knew before I open the package that the light bulb was not going to work, and of course the filament was shaking and not attached so it does not work. I was highly disappointed in the shipping quality because target usually never disappoints.

I finally found an incandescent three-way light bulb! LED light bulbs cause headaches and light bulbs are not that expensive and the lights are only 10% of the electric bill anyhow!

Fire hazard
I didn’t notice the wattage of these when I ordered them, I was just so excited to find an incandescent 3-way. I have never seen a light fixture approved for 250 watts, it’s insane and these will definitely start a fire. I tried one briefly just to see and they were too hot to touch within seconds of turning on.

Dangerous!!!
I thought these would brighten up the room, but these things almost burned our house down! They destroyed our lamp! At first one (new) lightbulb sizzled and blew. I thought it must have been a bad bulb, and put a new bulb in. Next thing I knew, I heard, “Pop! Pop! Pop!” followed by sparks! I quick unplugged it. The bottom of the bulb was black and the inside of the lamp was all black too (re pic).

Provides very bright light on the higher wattage. The bulb does throw off a lot of heat, but I prefer this bulb to the led's that are now out. The led we bought lasted 2 weeks and cost $14.00. The GE 3way bulb seems to last a very long time.

Doesn't Last Long
I received this "General Electric 3 Way Light Bulb" on March 9, 2021. It died today, April 11, 2021. Lasted a little over 30 days with daily use. I may have just received a dud but I can not recommend this light bulb unless you plan to replace it every month.
