Not a blue light
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. The bulb is blue BUT the color emitted is a low wattage white. Very disappointed. Same for the green light bulb.

Gives off white light, not blue!
The bulb is indeed blue in color, but the color of light it provides is barely distinguishable from white. These should never have been marketed as blue bulbs. Where is Q&A at the company?

Such a cute and useful bulb!
I LOVE these little bulbs. I use one in a little lamp in the bedroom that I turn on in the late evening when I'm getting ready for sleep and want to see where I'm going but also want to relax! I use a couple others for a less conventional reason -- a bathroom that I can't remodel anytime soon was done by the previous owners in very bold reds and yellows that I just don't like and that don't even go with the rest of the home, and I saw on Apartment Therapy that sometimes just switching bulbs can help -- and indeed putting these blue bulbs into the fixture has transformed the room and toned the colors to a much more pleasing look to me.
