Don't bother
As others state it won’t hold any weight. The lower part of the arm doesn’t lock and even the upper can’t be tightened enough to avoid it slowly falling. I own a 2019 kindle btw and it won’t even hold that.

Pillow kindle mount
It is strong enough to hold a kindle. Just tighten the screw on the right side. Pillow is a little smaller than I thought it would be but still good.

Arm is weak
The arm doesn't tighten enough to keep the ereader up. It slowly moves down. I tested it with both my Kobo and Kindle Paperwhite without cases on and still had same results. So I exchanged and got a different one thinking it was just the one that was bad. The second one also did the exact same thing. Also, I thought there was like a little tray in the middle that I could put my page turner remote, but its just one big donut with a hole in the middle.

Can't handle any weight.
Doesn't hold any weight. Literally watched it fall while not holding anything. Would not trust a kindle to help whatsoever. Tightened everything I could and would have to position it awkward for Kindle to even be held up.
