Tropical Variety for Baby’s Diet, BUT Weird Textur
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently tried the Gerber Pineapple baby food, and it was a bit of a mixed experience. The smell is absolutely wonderful—bright, tropical, and genuinely fresh, which gave me high hopes. However, the texture was a little odd, almost too chunky compared to other Gerber fruit purees we’ve tried. My baby didn’t enjoy eating it on its own and made a face every time I offered it. That said, I didn’t want to waste it, so I got creative and used it as a base for tropical baby popsicles along with banana and coconut milk. In that form, it worked beautifully—flavorful, and refreshing, especially on hot days. While I wouldn’t purchase it again just to serve by the spoonful, I would consider buying it again specifically for recipes or mixing into other foods. It has potential, just not as a standalone meal.

Delicious new single fruit baby food!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to try out the Gerber pineapple baby food because this is the first time I’ve ever seen pineapple by itself. It’s not an overly strong tasting pineapple and it has a texture similar to that of applesauce. Yes, I tried it too! And as you can see on the ingredients list, it’s just pineapple. My 6 month old seemed to like it and my almost 2-year-old devoured what baby brother didn’t. I would definitely get this again because my babies love fruits and this adds to the variety!

Just in time for summer

Delicious meal today

I always taste and try the foods before I give her and it tasted just like how pineapple puree would have tasted if made at home. So fresh and full of flavour. My baby loved the pineapple taste too. She’s a big time foodie and this was a hit with her too. I’m probably gonna buy some more of these. The consistency is just right for a 7 months old and no added sugar or preservatives. Just eat I needed for her. Would recommend!
