Q: Why is this organic version of banana stage 2, while the banana naturals (non organic) is stage 1?

The color was weird when I got it delivered. When I opened the jar, the banana was already spoiled. OMG. It was for my baby!! I will never have it delivered again.

The ingredient list should start with the lemon juice concentrate. I don't know how anyone's baby would like this. I thought at first my LO just was having a getting used to a new flavor when he made the "I ate a lemon" face. Hoping to show him out was ok I tried it and holy heck! Nothing but lemon flavor. Stirred it up thinking it just wasn't mixed... Nope all lemon

While a lot of foods have heavy metals, including fruits and veggies due to the soil. This brand has 2x more heavy metals than what is "safe" for babies. I just feed my daughter fresh fruit! Just mash it or blend it, you can always make big batches and freeze it :)

I received this as a free sample from Beech-Nut. My baby was just under 10 months when she had this variety. She was having some bowel issues so she was on the BRAT diet. She ate the whole jar in one sitting! The texture is much smoother than the naturals but not runny where it runs off the spoon.
