Q: Is this gluten free?
A: We are pleased to let you know that many of our products are made without gluten-containing ingredients, such as our 60%, 72%, 86%, and 92% cacao bars and squares. In addition, you can feel confident that our baking chips and baking bars are also made without gluten-containing ingredients. Gluten may be found in several premium chocolate products that Ghirardelli Chocolate Company produces; either as a glucose (wheat) or a barley component. It is also possible that a Ghirardelli Chocolate Company product is labeled with a “may contain wheat” precautionary allergen statement. Exact ingredients are listed on the label of each package. For consumers who are sensitive to gluten, we recommend reviewing the ingredient statement on all Ghirardelli products before consuming and to consult with your doctor.
