Gel provides a great lather once applied to the skin, making it very easy to glide on skin while shaving — left area feeling smooth and clean. Scent of gel is definitely masculine and long lasting. Overall, it’s a great Gillette product; would recommend to those on the market for a new shaving gel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You don't need much for a shave with this gel. One pump, which is a firm push of the button, gets about a nickel's size of gel out. For my face, two pumps was enough for both sides of the face and my neck. I let the gel sit on the skin for about 30 seconds and felt a mild tingle as a result. The gel did not puff up like most shaving creams. Instead, it stays fairly close to your skin. Running the razor over my skin was the same as any other shaving experience. Nothing new there. But there is a tingle afterward for a few minutes. I like the aroma too. To me it was a little menthol/mint-ish. I liked it.

I’m usually very happy with Gillette products but I really didn’t think this particular one was their best offering. Yes the product was easy to use, the gel was smooth, and the shave was nice, but I think having aloe in with the gel has a much better, cooling effect. For those of us who don’t shave every day this is a must. Overall a very good product..

It helps to not get any razor burn or cuts. The cooling part is great since it helps my skin stay cool. It only takes a small amount. Recommend for anyone who shaves.

The smell is overpowering and too perfumy. I can smell it in my husband and in our bathroom for hours afterward. It gives me a headache. They really need to tone down the scent or make it unscented.

This gel has so many chemicals in its content that there could be no explanation for why all of them are there. One of them is methol. When it got into the blood through small wounds, it caused a 2-day numbness of one side of the face. This led me to an Emergency Room and cost thousands of dollars. This product is not safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have added another great product from Gillette. Their Pro shaving Gel for men with its twist lock cap is the best design for a shaving gel can. Now I don’t have to worry about the push button on top being depressed while it is in my shaving bag causing a mess. The gel itself produces an amazing rich lather that lends to a smooth effortless razor glide.
