I’ve tired a lot of different shaving gels/creams and nothing shaves closer than Harry’s gel. Many of the other brands had irritating ingredients that made face red and itchy. This product has not only made my face look smooth but it has a GREAT smell too. The reviews complaining about the fragrance is entitled to their options. However you can’t deny the super close smooth shave it provides.

My daughter started shaving a few years ago. We have tried at least five different brands of shaving cream. She chose Harry’s as her favorite. She says that the container is good (autism friendly) and that Harry’s leaves her legs soft. I like to experiment with all brands. Glad we did! (I bought my daughter Harry’s body wash this past holiday season- will review as soon as possible.)

This has an insanely strong smell that lingers. It reminds me of the generic “man” scent they put it products that are specifically for men or an axe body spray or something. It lingered in our bathroom and hallway for a while and in my husband’s skin.

If you are very sensitive to scent, stay away! My husband got this as a sample in a holiday set he received and tried it, I walked in and had to leave the bathroom fast. Plus it then spread to our bedroom and I had to spend the night on the couch 4 rooms away. It permeated everything! If you’re not sensitive then go for it, but if otherwise you’ll want to stay away.

Product comes out of packaging quite readily, so is very easy to get far too much. Spreads easily but provides very little lubrication. Scent is nice though.

My husband has been using the shaving gel for years now. It does not irritate his skin and goes to a good lather. It comes in 2 sizes, large and a travel size for holidays. He would not buy anything else now. I have started to use it as well for a quick shave on the legs. Works so well. Perhaps you could start doing a lady shaving gel.

This gel complements the sharp blades of the razor to give a wonderfully smooth shave - so smooth I can often go two days between shaves. Even at the age of 66 I also appreciate the after effects of the gel compared to my previous product. The aloe vera leaves my aged skin both smooth and cool. You only need to use a smidgen so this large can should last me a long time.
