I have found it extremely difficult to find the right razor. As someone who not only shaves their face but their head also, most of the razors I tried were good for one or the other but not for both. The Gillette Labs is the perfect razor in my opinion. It does the job that no other razor has been able to do and I get the smoothest shave without having to use multiple razors.

The handle is the best part of the set. Easy to grip with wet hands. Had to wrap rubber bands around the handle of prior razors. Also blades are great but the handle improvement is wonderful

This is an incredibly flimsy case. I will be surprised if it isn't destroyed on my first trip. Cheap looking / feeling No battery to charge my heated razor No additional cord available Very disappointed in the product.

It's extremely harsh on the skin and does not provide a smooth shave. It might be suitable for those with tough skin. I have reverted to using my regular blade.

Really like this razor. I have a thick gray beard. Just like on your head once it’s gray it becomes thick and harder to cut. This is an easy smooth cut and I love it. Mine does not fit the base is why I gave it a 4. Falls over when you put it into the holder.

The travel case and stand are an absolute scam and waste of money. Went in the trash as its too bulky to fit into a toiletry bag. The blade was the same as any other Gillette except the gel strip wears off in 3 shaves. No would never reccommend this purchase

Disappointed. The handle falls off of the magnetic stand. The handle is slippery. The blades are rough compared to my former fusion blades.

I bought this a month ago when first offered hoping for a better shave of my head (scalp) and face. Unfortunately this didn't work as well as the SkinGuard Blade that I had been using for the past 3 years. The Exfoliating Bar razor caused razor burns on both scalp and face. I do have very sensetive skin and that could have been part of the issue, but the razor seemed to shave a lot deeper.

However, we want to let you know that the Exfoliating Razor should give you a deeper shave than our SkinGuard. Our SkinGuard Razor is manufactured with SkinGuard Technology to help those with skin sensitivities get a great and comfortable shave. Because of this technology it won't get as close to the skin as our Exfoliating Razor. To prevent razor burn, use a sharp blade, warm water, a shave prep, and shave using light and gentle strokes. We found that razor burn is typically caused by dry shaving, shaving too aggressively, and using a dull blade. We realize that you're likely already doing these things already though, so it's possible your blades may not be up to our quality standard. I'm currently 19 and I'm getting into shaving. I was given a Gillette razor one year and I've used it a couple of times but when shaving started to become a little more of a regular thing I realized I didn't really know which razor I had. I then saw an ad for this razor on YouTube and decided to look into it. After looking into it some more I decided to buy this razor with the three cartridges and I've only used the razor once since getting it but it's absolutely AMAZING! Just be warned, the metal travel case is a big pain to get opened. The product looks amazing in the included stand as well. When I uses it to shave my face it got almost all of the hair I wanted it to (I'm still learning how to actually shave and I'm doing it on my own) but when I was shaving I honestly couldn't feel the blades at all and it moved smoothly across the surface of my face neatly disposing of the hair. 100/10 would recommend 👌 💯

The traveling case sucks. The metal lid is very difficult to remove from the molded plastic base. A struggle! A gimmick of advertising. I received two, and each one is the same difficult opening issue. How did this get approved to go into production? Did anybody try opening this up before deciding to go public with it? Haven't tried the razor yet, but Gillette is know for quality razors, not the case or the packaging.

Thought I would try the Gillette Labs razor to see if it was a smoother shave than the ProGlide. This was the worst shave since I tried disposables 25 years ago. I am 67 years old with barbed wire beared on sensitive skin. Stocking up on more blades was a big waste of money. Evan had to buy another new handle to add to my collection. Money waisted that I could have put toward ProGlide Shield.

As you may know due to your barbed wire beard, it can be as tough as copper wire, so trimming it down first, soaking it in warm water, and apply a pre-shave can soften it.
