DIRECTIONS FOR USE: OPERATION: Please read and retain all safety use instructions. TO OPEN UNIT: Press button at top, while pulling sides of holder apart. When unit is open, always make sure the timer is set to OFF position and keep spray nozzle pointed away from face. TO INSERT CAN: Open unit. Pull out red tab to activate batteries. Remove the cap from the can and insert the can with the nozzle facing out. Turn the unit on by selecting your desired time setting in minutes, and close the unit. A spray will occur at the selected time interval. For an instant burst of Glade fragrance anytime, press the boost button on the back of the unit. REPLACING THE BATTERY: Open unit and remove the can to access the batteries. Remove old batteries and replace with two new alkaline batteries. Replace can, set timer, and close unit.

USES: Use in any room where an instant releasing fragrance burst is needed.

WARNINGS: CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE. Contains propellants. Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120°F. Do not puncture or incinerate container. EYE IRRITANT. Contains acetone. Avoid contact with eyes. FIRST AID: EYES: Immediately rinse eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. Do not use in small confined pet areas without adequate ventilation. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS.

  • A: From my reading on the information of this product with the intention to buy it, I do believe it is just the Glade Spray Canister itself, along with 2 AA batteries provided in the Spray unit itself. So you would need to buy a Glade Spray Unit (whatever scent you prefer) to put inside of it, remove the tab between the 2 double AA batteries to activate them and it's good to go.

    Do not purchase this item. I went thru 2 of them before realizing it was just one faulty item I had the misfortune of purchasing but the product itself is defective. The dispenser would only last me about 1-2 months before malfunctioning. The plastic trigger doesn’t create enough pressure to push down on the top of the scent cans. It makes the motor makes noise but doesn’t actually push down enough to release the scent.

I thought maybe it was the can itself, so I purchased another can, and that didn’t work either. So I figured it must be the device itself, I purchased another Glade automatic air fresheners, and that won’t work either! I followed the directions, and the new one has new batteries too! 😡 Two new cans and two new devices! So disappointed!
